How about You?

Are you without sin?
Are you guiltless?
Are you perfect?

Are you secure in your salvation or do you still have more of the race to run?

These are questions you should have already tendered.

Yes, you do.
Otherwise you would have something else to do than to hang around here desperately trying to confirm in your mind that you are actually right.

You know you're bluffing.
You're just trying to find justification and confirmation.

Some people feel the need to help their fellow man see past bronze age mythology just like you feel the need to save someone from fire and brimstone. You both are genuine in your belief but only one is right. The good part is it doesn't matter! Some people are probably here just for the entertainment, like watching Christianity evolve.
Don't fool yourself.

This song explains it quite well in 2:00 minutes:

Don't you understand that mankind evolves?
Some of mankind are Christians.

Sorry......You got the wrong guy.
While it might be claimed I am really hot with women, I haven't burned any, innocent heretics or otherwise.
But I can be accused of burning a few steaks.
<quoted text>
Come on dude.
The Israelites were in mixed company of Egypt for some hundred years. They came out and wandered through the desert for forty years with no digital devices or TV. They had no decks of 52 cards.
Don't you think they told storys around the campfire about their ancestors and origin?
You don't actually buy the 24X6 creation story ......do you?
Your post makes no sense, you Okay? You ask if I know mankind evolves and if some of mankind are Christians? LOL... Look around all the people that are still fighting evolution are Christians. You might want to go explain evolution to the life long Christian that just flipped out and created a new account to explain how he/she wasn't brainwashed from childhood, studied objectively and choose Christianity! Catholics fought evolution until science forced evolution of the faith. While evolution is true, did finally admitting to it do more harm than good? The fundamental Protestant would say yes.

I don't have the wrong guy, you claim to be a Christian correct? That's like me saying I never actually put the rope around the neck of an African American but I'm still a member of the KKK. Why? Well I was raised that way and I like the principals it was founded on and the original purpose, plus I will be able to live forever and ever! The Roman Roads chapter of the KKK says I was never a real clansman and I'm going to hell. We will see who the REAL KKK is when we die, I can't wait! The rope is the works but I got the faith baby!

They never wondered the dessert for 40 years. This is mythology that started with a tiny bit of truth like most of the stories in the bible. I know the truth, do you? How many countless hours would it take to prove your religion is mythology? What would you do after I proved it to you? Is it my duty as a former Christian that knows the truth to prove it to you? I'm torn on this dilemma because while I think I can take anyone's faith with what I know, I wouldn't do it in my personal life.

I don't feel like I should do it here in an anonymous forum which is why I have only been offering little bits of information here and there to cause people to investigate for themselves.

I'm 100.0000000(h8)% certain that the holy Bible is mythology! I know this for a fact and would bet the life of my entire family on it! I've only been here a few weeks in a very limited basis for several reasons. I haven't decided yet if I want to directly be responsible for taking someones faith. While I feel compelled to share what I've learned after years of studying religion to help people see it's mythology, is it the right thing to do? I currently wouldn't do it in my personal life even though it would be so easy.

The people in my life are just average Christians that have very limited knowledge of religion and are familiar with my previous strong faith. They were raised with religion like me and don't get on the internet studying religion and I don't think a single one has read the Bible cover to cover! They wouldn't stand a chance yet I wouldn't do it. Is it my responsibility for the good of mankind to accelerate the fall of bronze age mythology, I'm just not sure yet!

So this is were you can help me decide. Since I feel certain in my ability to prove beyond a reasonable doubt Christianity is mythology and people like you will just continue to push me until I finally do anyway, lets save lots of my valuable time. When I get some free time I will create a thread asking for the opinion of every theist, agnostic and atheist on here. Based on the outcome of that post I will either decide to leave this site and let Christianity die slowly or I will decide it is my duty to expose Christian mythology at least anonymously!

Romans you just make sure you find my future post. Make sure you read it carefully and give your honest opinion! Do not put on your " the only REAL Christian" Topix super hero cape because depending on the outcome of that post you will be one of the first I destroy on here if I decide to stay! I know you think your incredibly strong fundamental faith will be unshakable but as a former Christian I know it will be a huge weakness!

How do I know? The very first post would be devastating by itself and you wont be able to look away, even if you stop posting, I know you would continue to read my posts and once you know something , its forever. You could even get on here and preach like the Protestant preachers that get caught selling crack and buying prostitutes with holy dollars. The Catholic fathers take the p*nis of small children into their mouth and have gay fun time in the confession both after hours still preach till they get caught. The people that often know the most about religion figure out it's mythology but they keep it to themselves for various reasons. I look forward to hearing your reply in my future thread!

I live in the deep south and am surrounded by Southern Baptists.

I am also certain that, despite being a life-long Catholic (but admittedly not a good one) and praying to God my Lord and Savior many many times, until I pronounce that I have "accepted" Jesus in a SB church and being declared :saved", I'm pretty much hell-bound.

And this is NO exaageration!

While the KKK claimed to be anti-Catholic it's interesting they never actually did anything to Catholics.
Quite an excellent point. Little known, but true!
