"Rub" or "spread" it makes no difference the implication is the same. The word "even" does not occur in the Hebrew. It was added by the translators. What the Hebrew actually reads is "I will ... spread dung upon your faces, the dung of your solemn feasts..."
God did not say he was going to spread animal dung on the faces of the Jews. He called the feasts of the Jews "dung" and said he would spread that on their faces.
Mal 2:3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
Dung is animal feces, how can a solemn feast be dung? Unless the Jews where eating shiet. At any rate why would god smear camel crap on the face of a Jew?

Figure of speech. The Bible is full of them. Atheists should not try to explain that which they are incapable of understanding.

It's not a figure of speech. Read your Bible.

It's not camel crap. Camels are an 'unclean' animal. Read your Bible.

Leviticus 4:

As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings,

And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth and burn him on the wood with fire.

Mal 2:3 clearly shows that "dung" is used as a figure of speech. God is calling the feasts of the Jews "dung." The image I get is God is saying "Your feasts ark wrap and I will rub your faces in it."

LXX Mal 2:3 Behold, I turn my back upon you, and I will scatter dung upon your faces, the dung of your feasts, and I will carry you away at the same time.

Leviticus 11:4
Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

Irrelevant! "Dung" in Mal 2:3 is a metaphor, "the dung of your feasts."

LXX Mal 2:3 Behold, I turn my back upon you, and I will scatter dung upon your faces, the dung of your feasts, and I will carry you away at the same time.

The dung of the feasts is not a metaphor as you are now aware; as Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers confirm.

The "dung" in Mal 2;3 does NOT refer to the "dung" of the clean animals which was burned outside the camp but it is clearly a metaphor. "The dung of your feasts."

Mal 2:3 Behold, I turn my back upon you, and I will scatter dung upon your faces, the dung of your feasts, and I will carry you away at the same time.

Yeah, it's basically God telling them, "Hey, those special feasts and what not. That's all dung to me anyway, and I will show you that. However, I will have mercy on you."
Dung, is quite clearly a metaphor.

Really? You are unlearned of His Word.
Matthew 12:46-50
King James Version (KJV)
46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
None of which say they are my Lord. DUH!
