i know this similar thread is probly on here already - somewhere. cant be bothered looking for it.

We've all heard about the scientific theories of how the earth and life came to be. eg. the big bang. not everybody believes that to be true. another theory is evolution. apparently humans evolved from their ancestor, the ape. lol sorry i find that so funny. but anyway i wonder, if the big bang really did happen, then dont you think there's no point living? hmm... they say the big bang was an accident, then doesn't that mean WE'RE accidents too? if thats so then where does the need to know what our purpose in life comes from? where does the need to know what life is about come from? where does the need to know the absolute truth come from?!! rofl but yea just wondering. xox

Hello

Just Us...

You find that humans coming from Apes is Funny ??

How So ?

Isn't there enough proof of that, considering they are the closest link with DNA to humans ??

How do you Explain Lucy ??

The only other explanation to you then is God ??

Even if Evolution is Wrong,, it's still a better explanation than God..

As a matter of fact,, use being decendants from a wrecked Space ship form another planet is a better explanation than God..

As abserd as it sounds I find it more Plausable..

It is said GOD created the world in 6 days, no one know how long a day of GOD is?
In Hinduism a day of GOD is 4.32 billion years, thus the world could have been created in
6 x 4.32 billion years which could corroborate the evolution theory. The big bang was not an accident. There are no accidents.
That what is called Life/ Consciousness can be interpreted as GOD.
To be conscious is to know yourself, it seems this force/ consciousness/ life/ GOD etc., can only know what it is through the experiences off forms, thus thatís the quest, self knowledge.
If you want to know what you look like you have to find a surface that reflects your image, but if there is nothing else but you, how can you gain knowledge off yourself. You can come up with lots of ideas and in each idea you can see yourself.

stop being so arrogant.

why do you have to have a purpose to live?

you saying that a dog has a purpose, every maggot, virus, bacteria?

why can't you accept that you exist simply because you do?

This is an arrogant view of Divine Alien:

If there was no God, there could be some Stupidity exist claiming that the universe exist just by itself or a car just exist by itself without an inventor.

A car exists because there was an inventor.
The universe exists because there was a creator for it.
Human exists coz his parents were naked creating him.

No parents, there would be no human.
No God, there would be no human/life in the universe.

The parents created human using the tools that were already invented by God for them to be used in multiplication of human race on this planet.

Yes, the parents are like God for they know how to make human. God did not make human using the tools that the parents used but He created human by His hands/spirit. So, human is no superior to God.
Human has to worship God for that.

im not being arrogant im just stating my views and beliefs. well...im sure every being has deep inner desire to want to know why on earth they're here. its in movies, its expressed very deeply in songs, eternity is in everyone's heart whether they admit it or not. the existence of life is not simple so how can you say we are. xxx

haha i do enjoy reading your posts,#1 Just because they have 21 Chromosomes and we have 23 doesn't exactly make them relatives of us some how. In fact a strawberry and a tulip have a close Chromosomal structure as well, well they obviously must be relatives through an evolutionary chain. Please for everybody's sake if you are going to use Darwin's facts, atleast do a highschool coarse of Biology...Thanks

If there was no God? Then there would be no us or anything. The better question would be, "What if There Were No Darwin?" I think we would be a lot better off if ole Dar-boy hadn't been so neglected as a child. He might not have never came up with this evolution crap. And Atheist, there are a ton of evolutionist folk that would laugh you out of the water with your monkey into human theory. Can't you keep up with your own lies?

somehow I see this same statement made 150 years after Galileo made his discovery:

The better question would be, "What if There Were No Galileo?" I think we would be a lot better off if ole Gal-boy hadn't been so neglected as a child. He might not have never came up with this Sun center crap.

No I'm comparing YOU with those who felt it necessary to lock up Galileo for his science. You seem identical to me.

As do non-believers.

What does proving the earth revolves around the sun got to do with it?

Galileo had no proof. only a theory. that was enough for the church to lock him up. What the current generation of fundies are doing with the theory of evolution is exactly the same. I think that is pretty obvious. Only a fundie can't see this.

It is a lesson fundies should take note and learn from. It is also a lesson for non-believers to take note of who is and who is not a competent adherent of faith.*Commitment* to a faith is not competence in it.

Has anyone ever seen evolution?
I'm pretty sure if I were once a monkey, I would have keep the opposable thumbs on my feet.

The church locked Galileo up... Christ didn't.
The church crucified Christ... think about it.
Church was an organization in the olden days/Dark Ages. The church killed thousands upon thousands in search for a cup.
The church was bad news. Christ is not. Church when used for fellowship is not.

But truth? If there were no God, I would not be here. Not only because He wouldn't have created the universe but because He wouldn't have saved me personally so many times during my childhood.
I have never seen evolution. I have seen adaptation. And I have seen God, November 14, 2001. And I didn't accept Christ until years later.

Sorry evolution. I prefer the idea of the Matrix myself.

WRONG, the chromosomal*(correct grammar thank you) argument has never been 100% dismissed as there is no way too tell what each individual chromosome does. And for your information i did do my homework, so please I'm sure it was a common mistake made by me, as i obviously didn't go into enough detail about what i was talking about; if you would like i could happily email you a fairly short two page document (written by me) that shows the different DNA compounds related towards marmoset(spelling may be incorrect) and the primate families and good ol' homo sapiens sapiens?
