I was directed to this site to answer a question.
I have a friend, and he's my best friend. He accepted God's call about a year ago. But, he is now believing he is Bisexual. He refuses to act on it though, but he IS letting people know. He is tired of hiding the truth. He wants to turn away and he is trying, i do believe. He often speaks he doesn't want to be this way and he's trying. But, it is his worldview and he believes its wrong.
I support any type of love or worldview- I am also a christian.
Me and my father got into it, he said he wouldn't go to heaven just because he is bisexual. But, the Bible also states that the forgiven go and homosexuality is just ANOTHER SIN. all sins are forgiven. I compared it to being fat. You are trying your best to turn away, theres no denying it, but its who you are.
I want a clear understanding of this. I believe he will still go to heaven. That he is forgiven, just as we are of lying, of stealing, of anything else.

There is no sin in being what God made you to be, whether it is heterosexual, bisexual or homosexual.

It amazes me how many believe they really know who is going to heaven or not. Only God is our judge, and one is judged on the state of their soul upon death.

Negazoid, believe what you believe. I won't be able to prove you wrong, but neither will you prove me wrong.

Nettiebelle, that helps alot. But, I still don't see an answer in that. God also made us liars, and theieves.

Hi foreverandtruly..We are all sinners and fall short of the glory..Sin is sin wither that sin is as you correctly state glutteny or homosexuality..as a christian I dont believe it is my job to judge nor condemn anothers sins but too simply work alongside Jesus and the holy spirit working out my own sins ....as I am not homosexual all I can do is say there for the grace of God go I when thinking of homosexuality..The Lord has though given me a heart towards homosexuals and I truly feel their pain and rejection..I believe homsexuality ,if it is a sin ,to be a sin of the flesh as opposssed to a sin of the heart and believe that "sin" will be totaly wiped out upon death of the physical body as will other sins like gluttony for instance ..pride ,hatred or predudice for instance I believe to be a sin of the "heart" or soul and not quite so easily removed on the death of the physical body so I can even go as far as believing homosexuals will enter the kingdom way way in front of others who appear to be clean.

Nope, I do not, not at all.

There is no sin in being what God you to be nephie.
And I am speaking of your sexual orientation, nationality, gender, etc.
Of course people sin during their lifetime. Being bisexual or homosexual or heterosexual is not one of these sins.

The Lord has also given you a way with words, very insightful.

So you have decided that what the Bible clearly states is a sin, is not a sin! Your deception and judging for God is worn out.

And YOU do not have ANY idea how God will judge anyone.
God is MUCH more loving and merciful than you are.

One of the thieves who died with Jesus was promised heaven by Jesus coz he spoke kind words to Jesus; and he straight away went to heaven the moment he blew his last breathe and followed Jesus. If your friend is sincere enough with Jesus, I think he is promised heaven. If the thief could go to heaven without being baptized, so your bisexual friend can do so at the mercy/grace of Lord Jesus. When one realized that one is a liar/thief, one must stop being a liar/thief and be sincere to Jesus or else one will still be a liar/thief and find that the door to heaven is too small to accomodate him.

Last time before I accepted Jesus, I was a sinner. Now, I am no longer a sinner; I sin no more. Heaven would be no better than this world if there is still some homosexual souls there. Of course, all souls will not married there so they appear to be homo or les. As long as they don't abuse themselves, they are fine with God.

First off you are the one who is denying sin that is clearly stated in the Bible. Millstone Nettie, stay away from them.

Second, I have no idea how anyone will be judged. Not my place and it surely is not your place to tell people to sin and all is forgiven.

Even the Bible says it does not contain everything there is to be known about God.

As for your "I have no idea how anyone will be judged", you surely do indicate otherwise AT ALL TIMES in your posts.

Your gay friend has nothing to worry about. Heaven and hell only exist in the minds of religious believers. They are not real places. One needs to only think logically as to why humans concocted these concepts in the first place. The creators of the various religions throughout the world had to have a way to control people, and the best way to control people is to keep them in fear. What better way to keep someone in fear than to to tell him he'll burn in agony for all eternity? Obviously heaven and hell don't exist, not to mention there not one shred of verifiable proof that either is real.
