What have you to feel guilty about ?
didnt christ pay for your sins on the cross?
how many of us fork over money because we feel guilty.
God does not want christian people to give under compultion no matter how worthy we may think the cause is..
if a christian gave generously to every charity that had a commercial aimed at ones emotions trying to bring a bout a guilty conscience for not doing so ,, they themselves would need charity ..
Christ paid for your sins .. if you have a guity conscience
your not trusting in that perfect forgivness ..
any one that calls asking for money because of a worthy cause .
then insists upon you giving a certain amount ,,probably should be told fine you send me at least 7/8 of it first because that much for your charitys is not in my budget .and tell them you will be exspecting it no later than the first of next week.
use your christian liberty and choose the charity you want to give generously to and not being under compultion but under Gods grace in Jesus..

There are plenty of people in need who can be helped directly. That neighbor who lost his job......that single mother struggling to put food on the table.....the homeless who could use warm blankets, clothing, food, other help......inviting people to church.....offering rides to those who need to get places......
There are so many ways Christians can and SHOULD be helping out others in need.
The Harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few!
