".......I am 100% sure that I am not 100% sure about anything." So, by your own admission, you are not certain that god exists, or that the bible you look to for answers is true? Uncertainty is hardly a good foundation for belief in anything, let alone something that dictates how you live your life.

Hello
Noam
//I'm not necessarily even sold on global warming yet.//
Global Warming is a Hoax...
However what is very Real is climate change...
When you are watching or listening to matter on this subject, listen closely to what they are saying...
No True Scientist says "Global Warming", they Say climate Change...
Global Warming is a Political entity, Not a Scientific or Environmental entity..
There is a HUGE difference...
When a Retard like Al Gore gets a Nobel Prize for is work on "Global Warming", there is a SERIOUS problem..
Remember Al Gore said that he was the one that Invented the Internet..
When he Opens his mouth,, Rest Assured, there is Nothing coming out, other than Lies...
The Best to You my Friend

Most followers don't ask questions because they have been told to simply walk by faith.
The bible is replete with examples of blessings to those who have faith and punishments to those who don't.
I see the bible honestly as a tool. A means of control. Control of the uneducated by the learned.
It's intelligent to ask questions. When you do, you learn and understand. Once you understand, you can teach those who really don't understand but were scared to ask. In that moment, you have power over them. You hold the key to their salvation. Sad, but true.

You've always impressed me as being annoyed : more irritated than entertained. I don't live in DC now, but I was born in Georgetown, and raised in Arlington (Cherrydale...do you know it?).Then back to DC as a young adult, where = remained until a few years after my son's birth.

true liberty wrote: <quoted text> Any God that follows our logic would not be God - if you want a god of your own making that you can control as you see fit, then it's not the infinite mysterious sovereign God. That's stupid and has nothing to with his questions. He's just trying to understand, not control. You just made that up hoping it would sound plausible, but it's not. true liberty wrote: No man can fully figure out how God created or explain fully what God is. Speak for yourself. Just because you lack comprehension, doesn't mean everyone has your limited capacity. true liberty wrote: God created with a word, He willed and it existed. Nope, not with a word, where did you hear that lie? true liberty wrote: Those who don't believe in a God will inevitably create their own, and generally that God is themselves. Who feeds you this crap? It's just as stupid as your other stupid statements. true liberty wrote: As someone has said, man is incurably religious and will worship something - he cannot escape that reality More stupid stuff, where do you get this crap?

Oh, please, please, please won't you please just try to understand, that the thoughts they express are "unfinished"; that they are struggling to understand? They are not lies, but the incompleteTruth.! Truth-in-progress, so to speak.

And I apologize, in advance, for the possible intrusion of too much stupid. I suspect I'm a bit dulled by fatigue. I'm still working on a response to your comment on souls. Tony wrote: <quoted text> LOL. The big bang was a natural event?? Proof? Doesn't work that way. Natural is the baseline assumption. Why? Because all we experience every day is natural forces/causes for events. Sure, there might be invisible gravity fairies, electron gremlins and germ gnomes making everything happen with the illusion of being in harmony with consistent, measurable repeatability but so what? There is no evidence of those invisible entities so anyone who wants to claim they exist has the burden of proof. Do you feel the burden to prove they DON'T exist? No? Of course not. Same with the big bang. All is assumed to have explainable natural causes unless otherwise shown. Couple of thousand years and counting and we're still waiting..........
