You are correct!
In verse 14 where Jesus the Lamb is conquering those who attack His Catholic Church, we are mentioned in the latter part of Chptr.17,vs.14-
"the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and king of kings,
and those with him are called, chosen, and faithful."
The Catholics are called the chosen and faithful.
Thanks for pointing that out.
The church is people not buildings

" Now you are Christs body and members individually'

The church ..congregation..is Christs BODY.

And we are built upon the foundation of Christ and his Apostles...we are not founded upon any other rock..then Christ himself ..as he is the foundation stone..

Jesus set a model to follow closely and the humility of Christ said " he had no where to lay his head..

does not match up with these big rich organized structures ..that live in luxury upon the earth...

In fact it was Nimrod who was the first in the earth to try and BUILD out of brick and mortar a place of worship.

Its all scripture..so I believe all scripture is inspired of God , beneficial for teaching and reproving and setting matters straight

god tells us " it is wise to hold back "our own" sayings" but as for his word we are not to hold back at all...

Yes Nimrod built Babylon ..the first city after the flood...religious and political..before that it was a patriarchal society...he was the first to become a mighty one [ godlike ..ruler] on the earth

And Babylon the great as is inspired in revelation is about a great 'city' that has influenced the kings of the earth...and Jesus gave no command for a 'religious city' in fact he tells us in Hebrews , " we do not have here a city that continues but are earnestly seeking the one to come'

too many have made religious cities their homes now, where as Jesus says we are a city situated upon a hill...meaning we are his city new Jerusalem, and it never arises out of the earth but as revelation says " new Jerusalem comes down out of heaven, having made herself ready ..dressed as a bride'

So before all these big organizational religions start ruling , they had better make themselves ready and properly dressed because otherwise the scripture calls them 'harlots.'

Because they are not the 'new Jerusalem.." as it returns with Christ

Before glory their is humility ..Too many want the crown without the cross.

<quoted text>Sorry you feel that way. You can team up with Pope Francis and those people of "no faith" in searching for truth.
If your idea of teaming up is supporting people, be they Christians, non believers, of any or no faith, who help the sick and poor, then that's fine by me. I see nothing wrong with that at all, but apparently you do. Those kind of people are certainly much better people than that creature Fremont Rose, aka Doc, and whatever other names it calls itself, that you and your fellow fundie Laci Ann 7 team up with. This sick Fremont Rose creature calls everyone gay who disagrees with him, meaning it as a slur. He maliciously accuses people of having sex with their mother and animals, of having been sexually abused by their father and of having attempted suicide, all deliberate malicious lies. Here is your reply to one of his posts, "Excellent point! Astounding observation!!!!" And here is Laci Ann 7's opinion of Fremont Rose, aka Doc, "The poster you call Doc is much better than any of you that are upholding Pagan in her trashy filthy...... Sure is more trustworthy!"
You accuse me of teaming up with people who wish to help the sick and the poor, and you team up and agree with a creature like Fremont Rose. I rest my case!

Prayer is an interesting subject..seems the fellow prayed, and eventually acted...
Seeing it is written " god gives us the power to will and to act.'
..but then he took the glory for himself when he did.
.that tells me a lot about the guy, and why it took so long for God to answer, him in the first place...
"And here's something else, another problem you might have: Suppose your prayers aren't answered. What do you say?‘Well, it's God's will.’‘Thy Will Be Done.’ Fine, but if it's God's will, and He's going to do what He wants to anyway, why...bother praying in the first place? Seems like a big waste of time to me! Couldn't you just skip the praying part and go right to His Will? It's all very confusing." - George Carlin

<quoted text>Two sentences and you had to use the Catholic website. Sad. What does it say about homosexuality and that sin?..or abortion or adultery?????? Why again did the RCC kill over 150 million Jews and Christians? Heretics and something about protesters, I do believe.
Also, Nettie, how come the Catholic church is not mentioned as one of the 7 churches, in Revelations????????
Golly, child, not even in the top 7.
Also Nettie, why can't you use independent, objective scholars and theologians when defending the RCC? Perhaps, they don't agree with the ones from Rome? Go figure!

Ah, the old buildings versus people gag. If its only people, stop gathering in buildings and stop marking places as holy.

Independent, objective scholars?
What is their Authority?
Their opinions?

They would have to prove that their interpretations of the history of the Church/the Bible are accurate and they have the Authority to say so.

History is history. It does not have an opinion. And no one needs anyone's permission to study and report on it. Abuse starts with a group claiming they are the sole authority on religious matters. That was proven by the Jewish Pharisees. They claimed to be the ones properly protecting and dispensing the faith of the Lord. Then along came Jesus, who busted up their game.

Yes, I agree, they need to be more tactful and patient with nonbelievers. As for teaming up with pagans, atheists, false Christians, etc - the Bible is clear that we have nothing in common with them, and are to warn them of their spiritual peril. If we team up with them in social causes, that gives them a sense of creditability and soothes their wicked consciences. They would see no reason to repent and call upon God for deliverance. The coming spiritual cooperation that is unfolding among religions is a deception that will lead into an apostate religion that will be rejected and harshly judged by the Lord. www.scribd.com/doc/22629976 ....
