Romans Rode Hard wouldn't be in such a dangerous situation. He would never do the hard work...he would never get his hands as dirty as his Messiah did...

it is a battle, its God against Satan.
Why does this "God" need humans to fight his battles? Cant he destroy what he created?

Why is he stuck tolerating what You all say he doesnt like? He wasn't happy with humans, so he allegedly drowned them all...why not flood Satan in his hole (Hell) like a varmint?

Must be we humans have some power He does not...

While I agree with some of your points - think about this.
For how long and how far would those you mention go should the people they abuse actually protest in large numbers right in their faces...? Should large numbers of women and children start to protest - how far and how long do you think these men (its always men) would go? Do you think they would kill them all, and keep it up till no one was left?
Obviously its a "What If?" - but its an interesting one to consider. Especially in light of what is going on in India after the rape/murder of that girl.
...?
Well, it depends on which region your talking about. Some would have absolutely no problem pulling their AKs and spraying the entire crowd or strapping on a bomb vest and blowing them to bits. As for the women and children--those whom survived--some would be beaten, others (adult women) convicted according to local custom and killed, etc., etc. But, again, it depends on where you're talking about.

This isn't an insult or anything, but I think that many westerners can be very naive--a significant portion of the world doesn't think like you, they have totally different standards of what's right and wrong, what's to be valued and what isn't. I understand where you're coming from though.

<quoted text>Trouble is when humans use the term War so much, and so flippantly - it supports the thinking that all is fair in war (and love - to complete the phrase)
We Humans, and especially Americans, wage way too many wars on way too many things. Waging wars implies knee-jerk reactions, emotional reactions to insults, etc that are typically minor and blown out of proportion by the one claiming offense. It implies that force is to be used and in most cases indiscriminately - till someone begs for mercy.
But then of course there's that line where Jesus compares himself to a Sword...which of course has been immensely over-used by zealot Xtians everywhere - claiming themselves to the Sword of their God.
2000 years later and considering the negative side of Xtian history - its time Xtians drop the War, Warrior and Sword metaphors and analogies...and maybe focus way more on the Love others stuff. Way more!
I think the word "love" tends to be overused as well and thereby the true meaning of it tends to be trivialised. It's easy to say we love people but do our actions show the same thing?

While I'm not a christian (I'm of a different faith), I'd like to ask a serious question to the "love everyone" crowd.
How do I properly express love to the dis-respectful armed crack dealers whom live down the block from me?
Or what about the crack-heads around here whom have proven that their willing to steal ANYTHING not chained down?
(Btw, obviously I'm no longer in Saudi--I currently live in the South Eastern US)
I read one post of yours when I got home this evening and knew straight away who you were. Now I find clues that support my suspicions.

Well done Frank

No, I'm not "Frank", okay? Will you stop stalking me now? Seriously? While I don't I don't need to prove myself to you, would you like to meet in a chat-room somewhere and conversate in Arabic? Would you like directions to KFC from my family's home in KSA (though I'm in USA)? What do you want? Troll?

Last time and then I'm ignoring you. Would you like to create an account in an Arab forum and converse in Arabic? And yes, I like the judge-its and labeled your's as spam, however a "stalker" icon would be much more appropiate, if only there was one.

No, Frank I don't speak Arabic we will leave it there then. I knew you would go on the defensive like when I accused you of being King Jesus III

Listen man, seriously, okay?

I'm. Not. "Frank".

And I'm not "King Jesus" either, lol, however that's pretty funny, lol.

Here's what brought me here, perhaps this will clear up the misunderstanding: I'm currently sick and staying at my Brother's house. The topic of "social darwinism" came up at which time my nephew, whom was on the computer trolling, decided that it would be funny if he brought it up in the jewish forum, lol, which, given their history, wouldn't be in very good taste now would it? So I said: "no, ask the christians and see what they say", so he made up a name "Ihatecatholicsandpickles " and posted a poll, at which time I commandeered his laptop, created my own account so that I could change the screen-name, and joined a conversation...and then it just spun out of control from there, and now here I am hours later after having debated "flyegerian" the "Torah Only" guy...and it's really late here.

We are told to love our enemies... so where is the issue?? How can you argue this? It is easy to love those who love use, what we are called to do is love those who do not love us.

Don't you know?
<quoted text>
I understand the aims of your website. I assume you are including those people (crack-heads, prostitutes, muggers, rapists, etc) who have hit rock bottom due to their own poor decision making?
<quoted text>
This is what you said in your opening post.
"A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another."
If Jesus said this then why do us Christians have such a hard time with this? It is a simple concept is it not?? Love others as I have loved you... there are NO exceptions to this rule.."
If, as you claim, there are no exemptions then surely, from the perspective of your world-view, you should also be loving "Satan".

Scripture doesn't command unconditional love, that's the stupidest mis-interpretation of scripture that I've heard in a while!

That rule goes for everyone all of the time.

Just look at what breaking this rule does over and over again.

It just doesn't say someone who is being cruel to you should be treated with kindness, it's eye for an eye and always will be.

"love your enemies" you say, if someone strikes you on your face then let them hit the other, nothing but a figure of speech, a figure of fuqing speech that goes for everyone all of the time.

All that it means is that if you have a natural enemy in anyway don't harm EACHOTHER ever, it never just went for one guy literally getting hit in his face, metaphor, parable, allegory, etc......

It's eye for an eye, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing does it.
