Nachash is used in Exodus 7:15 showing that the rod Moses threw down became a serpent. Not a dragon. Also as I've said three times now (without you answering) tannin was translated in the bible to
Dragon
Serpent
Whale
Sea Monsters
Which one is it in Exodus 7:9-10 if we're just gonna ignore verse 15 saying it was a serpent (Nachash) as well as ignore Exodus 4:3 where Moses does the same act and it turns into a serpent (Nachash)? Why is it automatically dragon?
I know what the word was that was used in your example. You are just ignoring what the word was that was used in my example. It is dragon because it relates to Egypt as I have already shown and because the translator himself chose the word when he could have used the other is also telling. The person who translated Exodus would have been aware of the other examples in Exodus and iT would have been very SIMPLE to use the same word BUT HE DIDN'T.

Almah can mean virgin when the context allows it. Otherwise the word in Hebrew is BETHULAH. But lets go with the premise that almah means virgin. Can you explain how Isaiah 7 shows that Isaiah 7:14 is about a future messiah and not a sign for King Ahaz at that time that the 2 kingdoms that were warring with Judah at THAT time will lose in their conquests against Judah?

BTW this means using the context (i.e. surrounding verses) of chapter 7 and not referring to the NT as proof of it being a prophecy of the messiah

Lol this is weird to say the least. I've never seen someone ignore so much to hold to a stnace. I mean you're even ignoring what I say lol. So heres what we're left with

1. Egypt had many gods. Not just a "croc" god
2. Tannin means three things according to translators (dragon, serpent, and sea monster/whale). Why would we ignore how Exodus 4:3 (where Moses did the same act of throwing his rod) telling us the rod turned into a serpent (Nachash) and Exodus 7:15 telling us the rod turned into a serpent (Nachash) for dragon? Because you say? Because one of VARIOUS egyptian gods was a croc god? WHY DONT YOU ACTUALLY RESPOND TO WHAT I SAY INSTEAD OF REPEATING YOURSELF SO YOU DONT GET CAUGHT UP?
3. You're confusing WRITER for TRANSLATOR. TRANSLATOR is the one that made the english version available to you. THE WRITER is the one that wrote the ORIGINAL translation (Hebrew). The translator tells us that its serpent in most translations. Do you know Hebrew better than them?

Many of our English Bibles translate it as 'virgin'. I think those who deny this have ZERO belief that God can do the impossible. I.E. unbelievers.

We follow what the Hebrews understand of THEIR OWN LANGUAGE. That Bethulah is the BEST translation for virgin while Almah is young woman.

No I'm not. It is nor what I say but what the translators say and they were the experts in the language. If they had wanted to use the word Nachash they would have but they didn't!!!!!!!!!! Show me the original script and then I will consider changing my mind. Are you fluent in Hebrew that you can bet your bottom dollar that you are correct? No I didn't think so

Maybe if I ask 4 times you will actually do it lol
I dont care for the reason that Constantine accepted christianity. What I do care about is your statement that christianity "won" in a battle with paganism. Since it couldnt have been in 300 AD when pagan christianity took over paganism, when was it? How did it win?
As I've said it doesnt matter where the jail is. You're just trying to argue. What the text (Revelation 2) says is that the devil will place them in jail to test them.
If you weren't interested you wouldn't have asked the question.

You told me the jail was in Symrna and it isn't. It does matter because it proves that your understanding is wrong

I am not just trying to argue I am making a point there is a difference, I am not you.

The word devil means false accuser and it was the civil authorities in Symra who were the false accusers of the true believers

The translators say SERPENT. Dont believe me? Look at it here

http://bible.cc/exodus/7-10.htm
And here
http://bible.cc/exodus/7-9.htm

You do know what translators are right? They arent the ORIGINAL writers of the bible but TRANSLATED it from hebrew to english.

So are you gonna respond to what I asked? After this post I'll repost my questions/statements so you can actually RESPOND to what I say instead of repeating yourself as if I didnt read it the first two times.

Lol you just told me the egyptians worshiped a croc god when they had VARIOUS gods they worshiped not just the croc. Hey let me just show what the bible states

Exodus 12:12
On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn--both men and animals--and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD.

Not that it matters, but prove to me that the jail wasnt in Smyrna? I'll wait.

Yes you are trying to argue. Which is why you ignore points. I mean I consistently respond to you paragraph by paragraph why can you not do the same to me?

<quoted text>
Your interpretation doesnt fit lol
1.How did the Romans fight with Michael?(NOWHERE DOES THE BIBLE CONNECT MICHAEL WITH JESUS BEFORE YOU GO THERE)
2. How did the Romans lose the fight with Michael and get thrown out of heaven along with angels?
3. How were the Romans bound for 1000 years?
4. When were the Romans released to deceive the world one more time?
5. When and HOW did the Romans deceive the whole world?
I even numbered them lol

Heres the second

Im not even gonna waste time on this. I dont even have to point out the contradictions in the NT. I dont even have to point out how we do not know/understand ALL THE HEBREW that is in the bible and that there are certain verses/phrases where the meaning is uncertain. Do I?
Concerning what we are discussing; heres what we know
1. Tannin can be either a dragon, serpent, sea monster/whale
2. Tannin is used in verse 9/10 of Exodus 7.
3. Verse 15 of Exodus 7 tells us that it is a serpent that the rod turned into
Therefore how could I come to the conclusion that not only is tannin not a sea monster/whale or serpent, but automatically dragon? ESPECIALLY when verse 15 tells me that its a serpent. how would verse 15 not explain to us that the correct translation of tannin is serpent?
Just to make it clear, the questions that you ignored was "How could I come to the conclusion that not only is tannin not a sea monster/whale or serpent but automatically dragon? Especially when verse 15 gells me that its a serpent? How would verse 15 not explain to us that the correct translation of tannin (in verse 9-10) is serpent?"

Will you stop avoiding these questions? Cuz if not, you're doing exactly as I said. ARGUING. In a debate I respond to you and you respond to me. The sign of one losing is when they stop respond and keep reiterating their points. Dont harp on that though just please I ask answer my questions

I never said you did. I explained to you why Constantine found it attractive to support Christianity despite the fact that there is no real proof that he was a Christian.

You are the one who said the jail was in Symrna so the onus is on you not me to prove that it was there.

What you call arguing is an opinion that doesn't always agree with you.

I didnt ask for that. I've constantly asked you how christianity "won" against paganism if the time when christianity became the state religion, it was paganised. So of course that is not the time they "won" against christianity. So when was it? These were YOUR words that said they won not me

I said that because Jesus "allegedly" told the church in smyrna that they would be placed in jail. Once I said this you said no its not meaning you have the truth "allegedly". So I ask where is the jail?

I call it debating when I respond to your points and you respond to mine. I call it arguing when one just reiterates their points while ignoring the other person's points which is whats going on. You keep replying to my posts but you arent RESPONDING to the content within them. I mean I just asked you 4 times if you would answer my questions and you still didnt do it. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your fathers desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
You wanna change your wording now??
Jesus was referring to the Pharisees as comparable to the serpent because they did not speak the truth but adapted God's word to suit their man made beliefs. Just as the serpent did in Genesis. He disregarded the teachings of God and enticed Eve.

So I guess that you are unable to show me the original text
