I hope more people with sense expose this belief for what it really is...nonsense. A cult. A way to avoid reality. A coping mechanism. A meme. A belief that lacks ANY credibility.

And if you don't believe it, don't believe, but allow others to have theirs. How arrogant and narcissistic is it to which to control anothers mind to be as you that has no future beyond this life and world? ;*:*;

And if you don't believe it, don't believe, but allow others to have theirs. How arrogant and narcissistic is it to which to control anothers mind to be as you that has no future beyond this life and world? ;*:*; Because I care about people being manipulated and following outright blatant lies. How ironic that you charge me with controlling minds when religion and the bible do just that. With me, I am not selling stories and empty unproven promises, or asserting claims without proof......like your bible. I am using logic and reason to challenge that which controls people. It is rather odd that you consider logic and reason towards a cult mentality to be a form of arrogance and control. You must feel really threatened. I'm just using common sense to help break the cycle.... http://img.chan4chan.com/img/2009-04-01/12385... Religion is the controlling mechanism that feeds off of people's fears and ignorance. That is CONTROLLING. It uses blatant lies -- unproven assertions --- promises that appeal to people's needs and calm their fears - and makes them feel GOOD in a selfish way. Therefore, I am given no choice but to consider that you feel extremely threatened and are projecting your strong desire and need to be in control onto me-- when I am only expressing REASON in the face of your tall tales that have the attributes already mentioned.

You are simply protecting that which brings you emotional and mental stability. However-- protecting lies and unsupported nonsense usually leads to such irony as illustrated in my last post. The cult mind often reverses things when they are put in a position to validate their irrational belief. Arrogance is a funny thing---- you see - religious people claim to have DEFINITE knowledge about the most powerful being in the universe and beyond. And their justification is nothing more than anonymous stone scribbles from primitive humans. And this is the basis of their absolute certainty which centers around their belief they will live forever. They claim to know all sorts of things-- what is right-- what is wrong.....who is going to do well in the afterlife....who isn't. This is arrogance to the nth degree.

Why? This supposedly all powerful god seems awfully needy. Rand M Sutor wrote: <quoted text> To Thinking: Because it's easy to understand something intellectual with your mind, but God wants your heart.

Rand M Sutor wrote: <quoted text> Hi Big Al: Can you imagine the King of Glory being born in a stable when He came to this world. That was to give the poor man hope, and the rich man humility at the mention of His name, but both would have to bow the knee. "There is no other name under Heaven whereby it is given unto men to be saved but by the name of Jesus." If Christ came for all, which the stable proves He did,then don't think that someone great and noble wouldn't need to put faith in Him also. Will all poor men be saved, doubtful! Will all rich men be saved, doubtful! So, just because someone of great, reguardless of his accomplishments, may have chosen to disbelieve the Bible, don't be so quick to their beliefs as truth. All are found in sin, but not all sinners find Christ! Besides, merely believing that Jesus Christ is this world's Messiah is not enough to bring one's salvation anyhow! Salvation is free, but it will cost you your life! For whoever would preserve his life, will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My (Christ's) sake, will find it. The kingdom of God is here NOW!, but you must ask, seek, and knock, to find it! That's >>>FUNNY<<<! !! And just what proof did you ever demand to see that proves beyond any doubt that your evil "god" exists and that he wrote the book of lies/bible?

Well, you Christians love to force your beliefs upon society and telling them how they have to live their lives based upon your silly beliefs, so too bad if many people have problems with that and come here to challenge your mythology.
