People have such a superiority complex. What makes you think that our insignificant little lives matter one twit to anything so powerful to be considered a "God?" Let's drill down a little further. What makes you think that your religion is any indicator that a God even exists? Because of the unverifiable claims that it makes? Has anyone here actually read their bible, researched the arguments, and objectively reasoned why you believe its teachings in the face of so many convoluted messages? I imagine that most bible thumpers in this comment thread have been indoctrinated with their religion since early childhood. It's sad to see so many bright people waste their lives on a doctrine that we, as a society, should have outgrown by now.

But instead it keeps growing and growing, doesn't it? Make you look inferior and proves you don't know what you are talking about, that's for sure.

Growing and growing? Are you talking about religion?

"A 2012 study by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life reports:

The number of Americans who do not identify with any religion continues to grow at a rapid pace. One-fifth of the U.S. public – and a third of adults under 30 – are religiously unaffiliated today, the highest percentages ever in Pew Research Center polling.
In the last five years alone, the unaffiliated have increased from just over 15% to just under 20% of all U.S. adults. Their ranks now include more than 13 million self-described atheists and agnostics (nearly 6% of the U.S. public), as well as nearly 33 million people who say they have no particular religious affiliation (14%)."

In actuality, atheism is growing and Christianity is dwindling out. Have you even been to another country? Check out the statistics in the UK or Australia.

How does it feel to look like a total idiot?
