The purpose of this post is not to provide the proof now but have an intelligent discussion on whether you think I should provide this proof. The "you" is every theist, agnostic or atheist on this site that cares enough to comment. I'm really interested in the opinion of those that are the most conspicuous on this board regardless of your belief. I came to this board a few weeks ago because I fell a strong desire to help mankind accelerate the reclassification of religion to mythology but I didn't want to be directly responsible for taking the faith of another. This is why I have only offered simple replies to inspire thought and a desire for people to study on their own.

Well this doesn't seem to be very productive and I don't have time to camp out on here like some of you. When I start to have a debate in a thread and reveal just a little commonly know information, I get ignored. It seems they get worried that something very damaging is coming next! Like just one example here

I know some of you will say just stay off of here but that is the dilemma I need help with. It is just as bad for this mythology to be forced on children by their parents without at least giving them the chance to discover the truth on their own. So as a former Christian it is hard for me to watch each new child be brainwashed with mythology! So really the best way is to force the adults to see the truth, rip the scab off and be done with it, right? Wrong? What do you think?

I'm 100.0000000(h8)% certain that the holy Bible is mythology! I know this for a fact and would bet the life of my entire family on it! While I feel compelled to share what I've learned after years of studying religion to help people see it's mythology, is it the right thing to do? I currently wouldn't do it in my personal life even though it would be so easy.

The people in my life are just average Christians that have very limited knowledge of religion and are familiar with my previous strong faith. They were raised with religion like me and don't get on the internet studying religion and most haven't read the Bible cover to cover, they just go to church, pray and live life. They wouldn't stand a chance yet I wouldn't do it. Is it my responsibility for the good of mankind to accelerate the fall of bronze age mythology, I'm just not sure yet!

The reason I feel better about helping people on here discover the truth, you are subjecting yourself to loosing your faith by getting on any religious forum on the internet already. There are lots of people much more capable than me, who could choose to get on here any minute and destroy the Bible God but nobody does. Is there a good reason and are other people on here holding back?

I feel like there might be other people like Punisher and Big Al holding back and trying to just get people to think about faith instead of just smashing it. There was a post were Punisher made a small but very damaging claim and one of the nutty theist scoffed it but instead of providing the evidence he just didn't reply back. I have a great deal of respect for both of them in just the few weeks I have been here and will put a huge weight in their opinion, so I hope they offer it. I hope to get the opinion of several different people of various beliefs.

So this is were you can help me decide. Since I feel certain in my ability to prove beyond a reasonable doubt Christianity is mythology and some people will just continue to push me until I finally do anyway, lets save lots of my time. Based on the outcome of this post I will either decide to leave this site and let Christianity die slowly or I will decide it is my duty to expose Christian mythology at least anonymously with a huge, licentious, edifying revelation of Biblical proportions!

Just so you know this would not be a debate about whether you think their was a creator of the universe, although I could make a strong case against it. It proves nothing and is totally irrelevant to the very easy task of proving that the Bible god is a myth! I have several very good personal reasons for wanting to expose mythology that I won't get into here. I have to make preparations to leave the country on business so I may not have time to reply for a while. So just discuss it amongst yourselves and thanks in advance for all serious replies.

You got me, I just knew I struck gold when I clicked this post. I also don't talk religion outside the internet. I wouldn't tell my poor grandmother for sure, she has invested her whole life in this nonsense, and she doesn't have much longer to go. I wish I had all the money she gave to the church in the last 70 years. It looks like nobody cares, and my grandmother doesn't get on here so let em have it. I will come back and save it to my computer for the stupid Christians on EN. What kind of evidence are we talking about?

Poor little child of Satan. You have no life so you attack the Bible.

I would certainly bring this up to the entire family prior to betting the farm...

I think he should bring his 'proof' into the light of day and we both know he's not really betting the farm, just saying he's betting the farm. We also know there will be some error in his logic because the existence of God cannot be proven nor disproven and we also know already who will ignore this so-called evidence and who will not understand it at all but attack him personally anyway. We don't need to name names. We know who they are. The irony is they don't.
