Thanks for the note. It was not your fault. They do that to every student.<quoted text>
Yea, I was brainwashed with it early in bible school, and spent three years of heavy duty brainwashing in a Catholic high school.
Of which put me into spiritual crisis that forced me to spend about two years of researching to find out if it was true or not. And as one by one, all the important points of the bible turned out to be lies, until there was nothing of importance left to research, and in the end nothing turned out to be true.
It was painful to admit that I allowed myself to be so deceived/brainwashed.
And now looking back I still rue how they deceived me into even partially believing that twisted crap.
Dr. Bart Ehrman, a former pastor and a scholar of the Bible has experienced the same. He has also left Christianity.
Having said that, I believe that Jesus did not tell any lies. The men, who penned the gospels/the NT and the men, who founded the Church, were the liars and they lied through their teeth.
When lies are repeated 24/7, people fall for the lies and think they are true but never realize that they are lies.
Thanks, once again for your honest and frank opinion.
