<quoted text>Oh here it is the old wont spell Christian properly gag. LOL. "Taking shots" makes it sound like I'm firing without any care, taking random ones. But Im not, my hits are dead center and that annoys you. So much so that now you call out the cursing and attempts to use various labels as curses.
I have pretty much always spelled it - in a casual way - as such, since I was a little boy looking at the old Irish and older manuscripts with the Chi-rho...all fancily scripted out...few of my Catholic teachers gave a shyte...'cept in a paper, etc where proper spelling was demanded, in all things. I didnt use -'cause to mean because either...or 'cept for except.
Petty thing to attack me on, when there is historical precedent for using the X. I dont care that American Xtians take offense, because most American Xtians, are dumb backwoods Protys who know shyte about the history of their Religion.(upper case if youre counting!) The RC's aint much better, but at least I know they've seen the Chi-rho before,'proly on Sunday at church on the altar - and it rings some distant bell in their atrophied brains.
In fact, early Christians relied on the X - an abbreviation for the Chi-rho - as well. So pffft! Xtian it is!(and as a nonXtian you take offense to the spelling? I smell cooking duck.)
Oh, I used the RC (Roman Catholic) and RCC for the mother church...so again, pffft!
You know who are the only people who stand outside of Catholic churches telling those going in, or already in that they're not Catholics? Catholics! They're the only ones who care who is and isnt behaving as a Catholic! Roman Catholics care who follows their arcana. No one else.
But Protys do care that they practice their RC arcana, because they care about their (the RC's) credibility as Xtians - Christians. They may stand outside a RC Church and scream at the Catholics for not being real Xtians....but they dont call them Not real Catholics!
Here's how I know youre the bigger dumbarse. Proty Xtians say; "I was raised in a Christian home." While Catholics say; "I was raised in a catholic home." as Greeks most often say, "I was raised in an (Greek) Orthodox home." As do the other Orthodox churches. And here's a surprise, I know that they mean Eastern - Christian - Orthodox, and not Orthodox Jews.(Their little curly side bangs and sombrero typically give that one away)
Protys use "Christian" as a self-identifier. RC's say "Catholic" as their identifier.
What I cant figure out is what skin do you have in the game? Is it that you really sided with your Daddy's side...in that Christian home...where Daddys side were "those people", the not real Xtians...the ones who worship the pope...
So are you a closeted RC?
Or are you really a confused Proty, annoyed by 15ths claims of being a RC, as he's one of those "misguided people who have strayed from the book" - and as a Proty want to discredit him, while showing allegiance to your Proty "christian" side...?
You seem to want to straddle a fence...actually a few fences.
BYW, that you are confused as to my atheism is rather odd. What parts of my previous posts where I called it all mythical garbage did you not grasp...?
You know?,you could have made it short and simple instead writing a whole damn book about your opinions of what you think, believe and don't believe.
BTW,I know atheistic quips and behaviors on a public forum when I see it,so you two aren't fooling me a damn bit,you may have others fooled with that gag that 15th Dalai Lama likes to play on here but not me.

You know so very little about the larger Catholic community...one big diff from Protys- the RC's have a huge sense of humor. And the women folk can give as good as they get! maybe better!
That dumb son of a bitch wouldn't know how to be a Catholic if his life depended upon it,Being a Catholic is also being a vessel for God.
Getting on here with his atheistic quips, attacking pagan for how she chooses to live her life and support herself then calling her a bunch of degrading names as well as inciting rape threats on here.
That is not being a Catholic,if he's this "card caring Catholic" then you can rest assure its by name only and nothing else.

Frankly, I am a card carrying Catholic. I've got my current Knights of Columbus membership card in my walled, 2014. I just noticed the thing is embossed. I don't pay dues or go to meetings because I think they talk too much but when it comes down to actually doing something they know I'll pitch in. I wouldn't be heartbroken if they dropped me from the rolls, as you have probably guessed, but until the last of December at least, yes, I'm an official card carrying Catholic.

.
Where is the evidence of this "close guard"? Would this be like any museum having security?
Carl Baugh is a national television host (Creation in the 21st Century) with no scientific credentials. There is no evidence of scientific examination of the hammer other than in the writings of fellow creationists John Mackay and Walter Lang. No copies of the analysis of the metallurgy or C14 dating have ever been made public.

A "real" natural history museum such as the Smithsonian would never display any artifact that not been examined by the most prominent expert in the various fields nor would they make scientifically unsubstantiated claims about an exhibit.
messianic114 wrote:
for years Baugh refused to allow the hammer to be C14 dated… in the late 1990's Baugh supporter David Lines reported on a web site (Lines, 1997, 1999) that carbon 14 dating had ‘recently’ been done on a specimen from the inside of the handle, and that the results ‘showed inconclusive dates ranging from the present to 700 years ago.’
.
If Baugh was afraid of C14 dating would upset his theory or if knew it was a fraud, why then did he allow the testing?
It was studied at the Batelle Laboratories in Columbus, Ohio where the unusual metallurgy was found to be 96.6% iron, 2.6% chlorine and 0.74% sulfur (no carbon). Density tests indicate casting exceptional quality. http://www.epicidiot.com/evo_cre/carl_baugh.h...
Strange behavior indeed since the purported testing (no official report was ever made public) was reported by Lang and to be inconclusive and the C14 date to lie within a range from the present to 700 years ago.

True but the age of the rock formation where it was found has a great bearing on the age of the hammer.
.
First you say it was not found in situ and now you want to use the age of the rock, fine what is the age of the rock?
You apparently don’t understand that the hammer had a crust (or nodule) of,“a small, limy rock concretion” which,“originated in a Cretaceous rock formation” for a long time after it was removed from the original site where it was found. That, however, doesn’t mean that the rock formation that it was originally found in was the same type of rock that it was encrusted in.

“Other relatively recent implements have been found encased in by similar nodules… The hammer in question was probably dropped or discarded by a local miner or craftsman within the last few hundred years, after which dissolved limy sediment hardened into a nodule around it.”- Glen J. Kuban

.
Where is this documented? From my memory of seeing this on TV was not that there was more ozone in the atmosphere but the pressure allowed more oxygen to be assimilated. This is what allowed people to live longer because of the beneficial effects of oxygen rich blood. Nothing was said about any additional ozone. In fact the protection afforded by the firmament would have reduced ozone percentages. It seems to me J.R. Cole, NCSE researcher, is creating a strawman.

8. He says that people were smarter before the Flood, attributing this to a supposedly higher oxygen pressure. There is absolutely no evidence that high oxygen levels would make people more intelligent. He talked nonsense about 'four molecules of oxygen', linking this to his subsequent theories about oxygen saturation. Furthermore, there is no basis for his extravagant claims about the curative effects of high oxygen pressures - if it worked as he claims, paraplegics would be lining up to be treated (many hospitals have suitable hyperbaric chambers).”

Compaction would not take place as you so desire, because for one reason the very real weather would negate it in many, many places, like out on various steppes. Plus that "compaction" demands that a much larger amount of covering "dirt" would have to be laid on top of that fresh post-flood layer, and compacted, then again, and again and again...for more time than your silly creation time-line allows!
6-10K years aint doing it, Einstein! Not even 20K - or the 40K you anti-carbon daters restrict its capabilities to. "No, no, that there carbon dating, that there's the work of the devil...its trickery and sham-foolery! That's what it is."

Firstly this would require people actually looking for this because if found the significance would not be noticed.
.
Secondly you are assuming that in less than a year material would have floated from one continent to another. I would think most of the material would have sank to the bottom. Even wood.
.
Thirdly you assume that this floating stuff would have subsequently become buried. Certainly if this stuff was floating it would have had a hard time being buried.
.
Fourthly it could have decomposed before becoming buried at a later time.

Let's just say for the sake of argument that you are in fact a Catholic and a Christian like you have told me also once before on here, which,in truth,Catholicism is a form of Christianity.
So,my question is,why would a said Catholic get on a public forum and down grade a married woman and incite rape threats against her then when busted and confronted about it you didn't have the decency and the morality of being a man of faith to admit your guilt and apologize to her?
In the first place, you should have been uplifting her and encouraging her to come to God instead of all that other junk that you was spewing and spouting off to her and about her on here.
I'm not buying into these shenanigans of yours because I know that you are not nor were you ever sincere in the faith.
You have disrespected me and my beliefs and you have also disrespected pagan's gender too much on here for me to believe anything you say on here other than the fact that you once told on here that you were an atheist and in my observation you still are an atheist that pretends to be religious on here.
