When Christ called sinners the children of the devil and said they were like their father, satan, was he saying that we should love satan?
We are all sinners...love the sin? no...only Christ can release...

No...

Some on here hold to the tenet that Christians are not sinners. I have even heard a few of those state that a "True/Real/Born Again" Christian does not sin any longer. Just in case you had not heard this view point yet.

God bless you and yours.

Perhaps, you have yet to be born again...no longer born of sin, but born of righteousness.
You need to get that checked out. Only Christ can relase one fromm sin....Yes...the temptation has harp string pulls from satan may linger.
We are all sinners until the day we die...Christ knows your heart which in the end will determine judgement...

So why do you need to love rapists equally?

You can love anyone, but not are not to love their sin. None of us on here would tell the guy that just broke into your house....I Love You, but you can always pray for them to repent to their ways and turn the right path and thats how you show Love that way.

I dont hate gays, but they really need to repent of there sexual sins and turn to Christ. Not agreeing with their lifestyle doesnt equal hate. If i were worshiping allah, stealing, or spreading lies and someone came and showed in scriptures where it is wrong, I wouldnt be considering them as hating me for not liking the lifestyle im living for pointing out my sins and showing me that I need to repent.

The whole homosexual debate seems to be that gays dont want to do what the bible says and want to be accepted as is in the church and have no regrets for how they are living and have no plans to turn from their sexual sin. This is no different than a guy/girl that comes in the church and says they are shacking up with their mate and in a sexual relationship and have no regrets for their lifestyle and when that relationship is over, they move right on to the next partner life has to offer. If anyone were to stand up and give that testimony, no church would have them be part of leadership, yet gays want to come in with the same behavior and think they should get a free pass.

The bible says once were are called to truth in the scriptures, we are required to change!!!

I'm afraid I can't find it in myself to show any love towards a rapist.
Rape is a deliberate act against another person but being gay is not an act but a state of being. Two very different things.
IMO rapists should be castrated.

I agree. Plus any man that requires women to "burka up" because of temptation issues.

Right, you just want us to follow your religious beliefs in order to be saved by your rules......and there is NO REASON to repent that which God created:-)

And you're right, not agreeing with who we are is not necessarily hate, but condemning us to hell or making other nasty comments does equate to hate......and by the way, IT'S NOT A LIFESTYLE, it's innate, just like being straight is innate......what's a choice is whether we opt to be true to ourselves or live in denial!!!!

And you may say what you want regarding your religious beliefs, but YOU'RE BELIEFS END WHERE MINE BEGIN!!!

AFIAC Forgiveness can only be given by the one who has had the crime committed against them. It also should only be hoped for if genuine remorse is shown.

God would not approve? Personally I think God's punishment would be much more severe than mutilation.

A rapist may be able to live a less frustrated life once castrated.

If you forgive someone before they are repentant, then you are part of the problem.

You have appeased a criminal.

You have abdicated your personal responsibility.

<quoted text>christians are told too forgive, plain and simple. it's in your bible. I did'nt make it up. These christians pick and choose what they want to follow.
