"It is stunning. What we see in our high-resolution sonar images are limitless, rolling, white sand plains and, in the middle of this beautiful white sand, there are clear manmade large-size architectural designs.

It looks like when you fly over an urban development in a plane and you see highways, tunnels and buildings," Zelitsky said.

It's even more stunning how people believe the completely untrue, such as this Noah's flood. No matter what amount of real evidence, and let's face it, just sheer common sense. How do fundamentalists turn a blind eye and block out all reason? Deep down I'm sure they know they are wrong.

WHAT!?!??!?!? Are you saying that regardless of the amount of real evidence produced, common sense rules otherwise? Your opinion has greater value than truth? Isnt that the opposite of what you have been saying? Isnt that the opposite view on evolution, even though evidence doesnt support it? Are you daft?

There's no real world evidence for Noah's flood several thousand years ago that covered the entire globe. It's a childish belief. It blows my mind that people can think santaishly.

Firstly there's not enough water.

Not at all, you're completely deluded and seek anything to confirm your belief there was a global flood.

There is no evidence for a global flood several thousand years ago.

First, that isnt what I was commenting on. I replied to your incredibly ignorant statement. Second, there is a world full of proof. Mountain tops with the same types of fossils of ocean life in their peaks on opposite sides of the world. Wouldnt be there if there wasnt a global flood. Multiple ancient cultures reflecting on past global floods in different parts of the world referencing the same time period. Population of the planet. Here ya go.....

first off it is you who is demanding evidence and second of all we don't need evidence of anything in the bible its called faith and third of all the only one who is deluding himself is you,no wonder the bible calls you fools.and ill go one further, you are bible illiterate.

have you even read the story about noahs flood, according to the bible it rained 40 days and 40 nights and then it stopped, more than likely the water was absorbed into the ground, just like happens now.and the rest possibly became part of the oceans we know about today, lets see you come up with a better explanation, odds are you wont, you will just spout the same nonsense you have been spouting, and demanding proof.

lol apparently you have a reading comprehension, the title mentions noahs flood, and the bible does say the waters receded, where it went the bible doesn't say,but my explanation in my other comment seems to be the most likely possibility.

When the flood is discussed in the Bible it comes from the word "cataclysmos". It was more than a flood. It was a complete re-shaping of the the earth. Continents moved, mountains raised up, sea beds collapsed. Along the continental rift, the pressure caused rocks to be thrown high into space. The reason there is so much confusion among geology and other earth sciences is that it is assumed that all the changes in the earth occured over thousands or millions of years. What if they all occured suddenly?

As to the amount of water needed, what happened to all the water in the recent tsunami's? A flood is not just caused by gradually rising water, but is often the result of a single event, such as a great tsunami would produce.
