The trouble with laws is what people will do to it, once they have a law for something, let it be the ten commandments or a juridical law, then someone will start to discuss the interpretation and find their own way of living by it.
Someone who has some suspect agenda will eventually extended it to cover something outside of the original frame and so on, and that is how it will eventually corrupt a simple and good principle.
We have seen this happen repeatedly in history and lawyers are the magicians of changing laws along with sectarian religious teachers.

Yes, my friend I got it right, but the trouble is people and how they will always try to turn THE LAW in their own favour.
In addition, very often THE LAW will be used for picking on others too.

The Bible teaches that the law condemns ALL of us as criminals. Only via the grace of Jesus Christ can anyone be saved.

By his faith in the future Messiah promised by God. Abraham knew him as "Shiloh" (The peaceful one to be sent).

Where does it say or insinuate in Genesis that Abraham was saved by his faith "in the future Messiah"?

"And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness" - Gen 15:6.

And Abraham met Jesus in Genesis 18.

That doesnt say anything about a "messiah" or "anointed one"

Isaiah 9:6-7 (NKJV)
6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end,

What does that have to do with Abraham "putting his faith in the messiah" like someone said in this thread?

Jesus is God, even according to the OT.

Jeremiah 17:10 (NKJV)
10 I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.

I the Lord = Jesus!

I'll ask again. Where does Genesis SAY or INSINUATE that Abraham placed his faith into the "messiah" or "anointed one" for guidance and his salvation?

Jesus is God.

Micah 5:2 (NKJV)
2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting."

Is Genesis the only Book you "believe"? You're just another Chop Chop unbeliever.

Gen 1:26 God said let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness.

I.E. Jesus!
