Hello people
I am here at your service as a brother in Christ and a servant of God Almighty. I know we sometimes face a lot of challenges and go through hard times in life. We need the answers to our questions and solutions to our problems. I started this thread for each and everyone who needs some help in life. This is a prayer thread you can place your prayer request in the comment section. This is not the place for antagonism and cursing. I want to pray for each and everyone who needs prayer over certain issues and matter of everyday life. I want to pray for you if you are sick, you have addictions, relationship and marital problem, financial and such. If you believe God is able, feel free to share your prayer concern. If this place is not secure and you have a more private prayer issue, you can e.mail me your request. You don't neccessarily have to give you full details. You can even use a nickname or initials. My e.mail address is: [email protected]
GOD BLESS YOU:)

My name is Audrey and my boyfriend's name is Abu. I am asking the Lord Jesus Christ to please intervene divinely and help us to change our mind sets so that our relationship can move forward. There is a spiritual layer that is stopping our relationship from moving forward. There are certain mind sets that the both of us are not willing to come to an agreement on. I am asking the Lord Jesus Christ to please intervene divinely and help us to lay down the defense so that the wall will come down and so that we can move forward. Many blessings, Audrey Richards.

Lol, that was actually funny, you sodomite---however, here's the deal.

What you suffer from is like is any other mental/physcial illness and doesn't have to be acted upon.

Also it's a matter of self control--people come in many varities and have all sorts of inclinations that they don't act upon.!

A good 10-20 encounters with a prostitute, a little therapy, you'd be good to go., lol.

Yes I'm sure it's funny to a lot of people. The fact is I was born gay and my whole life I've had to listen to Christians tell me I choose to be gay. Do you think it's odd that the gay experts are straight? When did you decide to be straight? What if the tables were turned and the Bible said being straight was an abomination? Then you could swear up and down you were born straight and I could say that's impossible because I have this Book written thousands of years ago that says so! Written by who? Hell if I know, some anonymous men hundreds of years after the fact.

Well it matters of common sense, while I believe that it's possible to become gay via sexual abuse ("Turned out"), it can no longer be denied that some people are born gay.

However I hold to the idea that you could be "turned out" the other way with women..

Many people tried this in the days when being gay was hell on earth but there are different degrees of gay. Just like there are different degrees of retardation or birth defect. I might have been able to force myself to be with a woman but there is no attraction. The only attraction is the fact that they make really good friends and don't bash like straight guys. An extremely gay guy would be unable to perform with a woman and I know a gay Christian that is a virgin because he thinks he will go to hell for following thru with natural attraction. So it's not like I didn't expect to be ignored when I asked, do you have a prayer for that? It was a rhetorical question because if you could pray me straight I would be your biggest fan.

You need no prayer to fix it. You were BORN that way and, only you can proof to them (if you become christian)that Paul's condemnation of homosexuality is
unjust.

But then real christian - like the proven guys have proven. Repented and baptized, truly, no fornication after baptism and married before your baptism, so that you d
not fornicate.

You will have to be a believer and set to become a christian through repentance, completed in baptism, if you want him to listen you. Set as a lukewarm fornicator to remain as you are is what gets the message out:'we get about 2% of our prayers answered'. This is the big joke in so-called christinity.

Others praying for lukewarm believers on their request, I doubt will provoke a response from God. If you are cold, he shows mercy and calls you to the gospel, but if you are lukewarm (believing halfway) he gets angry and spews you out!

REV 3: 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
REV 3: 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Is this a joke? I was made fun of all through high-school by good knowledgeable Christians for being gay because their bible said it's an abomination! If I was gullible and ignorant of the Bible that explanation might help but you have God ordering people be stoned to death for being gay way before Paul! You have entire city's supposedly destroyed for being gay! When I read all this as a teenager I knew it couldn't come from God but as a minority all you can do is sit back and take it or kill yourself. I'm just glad science is finally starting to give us some relief from all the negative effects of mythology.

So is this really the latest in the evolution of Christianity? To say all verses in the old and new testament against gays are a lie but everything else is the word of God until also proven false?
You still don't get it! There is no attraction! Could you force yourself to be with the same sex? If so, why in the hell would you?

The OT verses against gays are not a lie. They stood then, for the Jews.

The NT verses against gays come from Apostle Paul. The NT is the New Agreement between God and men, and Jesus did not mention that Gays were excluded:
and so only the gay can proof Paul wrong, through becoming christians as sexually active gays and proving the case as good as any true Christian can, like this guy,
for example:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_M%C3%BCll...

The fact: Jesus stated clearly and the christians back then demonstrated, that christians ate the bread crumbs of what jesus preached to the Jews, while the Jews
rejected the Gospel.

In the NT, Jesus never mentioned anything anty-gay. So, what if gays would follow everything in the way straights do? They will be able to proof Paul wrong.

He said you shall no longer say eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth, and what he preached abolished the priesthood of Israel and established the 'Christian' instead:
every Jewish priest that rejects jesus is to die, so they are vain!

MAT 21: 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but
also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
MAT 21: 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Having faith is coming: repenting, baptizing, not fornicating again - so also getting married to your spouse.

Not to lay with mankind is an old Jewish law, not referred to by Jesus in the NT: and why not, if it so important?

The Holy Ghost was sent upon the Apostles to bring all that happened to their remembrance: and all that is from the holy ghost. The doctrine of Paul, not echoed
from Christ, is not of the Holy Ghost, but from Paul.

Okay this is very confusing but first let me push aside my personal conclusions that I have had my whole life. It always looked like the Jews created their own religion in which they were Gods special chosen race. Then Christians high jacked it and completely rewrote it with their own religion by selecting one of the huge number of Messiahs running around in those days. They wrote in the third person without ever seeing Jesus if he did in fact ever exist, writing about local oral myths.

So what you think is all the Jews that were stoned to death and fire bombed by God for being gay was because he forgot he made a small percentage of people born gay? Did you mean that in the old testament days people were killed for being gay until Jesus came along and said God you have been killing people for thousands of years for being born? I'm trying to understand but that makes no sense. Is this a main stream Christian explanation?
I thank you for taking the time to respond but I think if you were born gay we wouldn't be having this conversation! I still don't understand Paul, he just lied? How could he lie if God wrote the Bible? How can you tell what is a lie or truth?

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17)

"All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness..." (2 Timothy 3:16 )

"Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation, for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the holy Spirit spoke under the influence of God." (2 Peter 20-21)

Why does it seem that when 1000 different people read the Bible, they interpreted 1000 different meanings if it's Gods word? Thank you for the reply.

The Jews were called by God, as you read in the first books of the OT. Then they were subjected to laws they had to follow, among which the Ten Commandments: 613
laws in total.

In the OT God was hard, bold, largely unforgiving.
But several times he softened laws, changing them, making them milder or abolishing them.

One example is the laws that sins passed on from parents upon the children: as we read in the last commandment of the ten: he actually changed this, stating: i no longer
shall visit the inequity of...etc. So that penalty was abolished long before Jesus.

----------
12 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the
earth:
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and
fourth generation of them that hate me;
----------

Cliff: the above could never stand today, for what if the childeren accepted christ, repented and baptized? It could never stand!

God, through the OT prophet, Isaiah, predicted the coming of Jesus, as the son of God.
Now was the time for drastic change, as foretold in the OT.
Jesus' preaching his Gospel, he abolished the priesthood and establish the metaphorically referred 'Everlasting Priesthood'- the 'Christian'. There is no difference between
christians: they are all Priest of God in waiting, as the Apostle explained: they shall be priest of God in heaven.
Actually: the word christian priest doesn't even exist to God: just Christian.

Continued....

Now, with Jesus, God, having demonstrated his self to many nation in the OT, shows great mercy to all menkind, excluding not one person, but calling all men to his glory:to repent and baptize in the name of Jesus Christ. This is a time of reconciliation with all mankind, everyone, all the creatures he has created: and so why not gays and lesbians? And where, oh where, in the NT does he even mentions this??? Such a very important issue as this appears to be??? Where? He does not. And I then
conclude: only the Christian Gays and Lesbians can show the world that Paul's quote was from men and not from the Holy Ghost. But remember, not lukeward, so-called christian gays, like 99% of the hetro ones, but real, repented and baptized, holy creatures, living a evident Christian life: repented, baptized, married and not fornicating ever again. We shall watch out for them, and hopefully (or is no doubt) at least one 'proven one' shall emerge during my lifetime, so that I may see before I die. And saying this, I know I will.

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17)

Cliff: correct: and that's why he was killed.

"All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness..." (2 Timothy 3:16 )
Cliff: correct, as long as you understand what is referred to as 'scripture' in this context: it is the word of God and of Christ.

"Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation, for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the holy Spirit spoke under the influence of God." (2 Peter 20-21)

Cliff: correct, as with the prophets of the OT, so with Jesus, who did not speak his own words, as with the Apostles, the holy ghost bringing all things to their remembrance. But not all the Apostles said was preaching Christ: much was their own doctrinal instruction to their churches, like Paul. He made at least one quotation, rebutted by his self, during a subsequent preaching chapter.

He said: I do not suffer woman to preach.(reading this you feel at once that it stinks! I rejected it at once!)
Then he said: we are all one in christ Jesus, there is no Jew and there is no Greek, no bound and no free.

If the last line is correct, as you feel at once, then he mis-quoted in the first line. What, to me, is a fact. And so we on this occasion see that the Apostles were only guided by the Holy Spirit to recall all that happened during their time with Jesus, and all that Jesus said back then.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply and I very closely read your reply but it did not answer my questions. So this time I will ask a very simple direct question with a number for each one, if possible could you number the answers?
1. Where old testament Jews born gay?
2. Why were they killed by God for being gay?
3. You said Paul lied but he is in agreement with the old testament so how do you know?
4. If Paul did lie, how can you tell truth from lie in the rest of the Bible?

You keep saying I can prove Paul wrong but the fact is nobody including me or you can prove anything. I live my life any number of different ways whether it meets your approval or not, I die one day with no feedback or proof of anything!
