You wait until the day of ressurection:

a) if u are christian then you arise to everlasting live.

b) if you are not a christian then you arise to burn in everlasting fire.

REV 20: 4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

REV 20: 5
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

REV 20: 6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Prophet Mohammed may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, then said:

“These people are being tortured in their graves, and were it not that you would stop burying your dead, I would ask God to let you hear the punishment in the grave which I (and this horse) can hear.”

Forget about Bible and Torah both are invalid and corrupted by man , you must follow the Quran , because it's the last revelation of God.
God said :
“Until, when death comes to one of them, he says:‘O my Lord. Send me back to life (on earth) in order that I may do good deeds in the things that I neglected.’ By no means! It is only an utterance that he says. And before them is a barrier (preventing them from returning: the life of the grave) until the Day (of Resurrection) they are resurrected.”(Quran 23:99-100)

The wicked soul is then restored to its body and the two fearsome, dread-inspiring angels, Munkar and Nakeer, come to it for its interrogation. After making him sit up, they ask:
Angels:“Who is your Lord?”
Disbelieving soul:“Alas, alas, I do not know.”
Angels:“What is your religion?”
Disbelieving soul:“Alas, alas, I do not know.”
Angels:“What do you say about this man (Muhammad) sent to you?”
Disbelieving soul:“Alas, alas I do not know.”
Having failed his test, the disbeliever’s head will be struck with an iron hammer with a force so violent that it would crumble a mountain. The cry will be heard from heaven:“He has lied, so spread out carpets of Hell for him, and open for him a portal into Hell.”[2] The floor of his grave is thus set alight with some of Hell’s fierce fire, and his grave is made narrow and constricted to the extent that his ribs become intertwined as his body is crushed.[3] Then, an incredibly ugly being, wearing ugly garments and giving off a foul and offensive odor comes to the disbelieving soul and says:“Be grieved with what displeases you, for this is your day which you have been promised.” The disbeliever will ask:“Who are you, with your face so ugly and bringing evil?” The ugly one will reply:“l am your wicked deeds!” The disbeliever is then made to taste bitter remorse as he is shown what would have been his abode in Paradise - had he lived a righteous life - before a portal is opened for him every morning and evening showing him his actual home in Hell.[4] Allah mentions in His Book how the wicked people of Pharaoh are, at this very moment, suffering from such an exposure to Hell from within their graves:
“The Fire: they are exposed to it, morning and afternoon, and on the Day when the Hour will be established (it will be said to the angels):‘(Now) cause Pharaoh’s people to enter the severest torment!’”(Quran 40:46)

Overcome with fear and loathing, anxiety and despair, the disbeliever in his grave will keep asking:“My Lord, do not bring the last hour. Do not bring the last hour.”

You begin to decay and if you're not cremated then eventually you will turn into dust.
If anyone has even seen pics of a corpse after it's been dead for a long time, they should realize that it is never going to come back to life and no one sane would want it too. When you die that is it, game over, the end, no more tears, good night, rest in peace, you do not think or feel, you're just as you were before you were conceived. You don't exist.

The body dies, yes, however the spirit lives on.
Whether that spirit is conscious after this separation from the body is a question only the dead can answer.
Just as I have done,we can only assume and believe in our own assumptions of what happens next after we die.
Yes,the physical body dies, rots away and ceases to function, never again to rise but the question will always remain unanswered for the living to ponder upon in which we can only speculate and assume about the afterlife based on our own personal beliefs.
Yet,which brings us back to the conclusion that only the dead knows the truth about the afterlife.

No one knows. That's the absolute and ONLY fact on the matter.

Anyone being able to quote any Religious text on the matter does not know either. They are merely quoting ancient beliefs that still have zero evidence as to their veracity. None of them can or have ever proven one darn thing about their claims. They fumble around in the dark like everyone else on this subject...in fact they fumble more, because they wont turn on the light of science and more importantly REALITY to show them they have no knowledge on the subject at all!

The Xtians here will however come back and demand we all hedge our bets according to their myths. Which is truly all they are doing themselves, as most of them believe out a rank fear of the unknown.

No proof. All made-up storytelling devices. You like the rest of us DO NOT know what happens when the human body truly is dead.

There is no proof of a separate and "living" soul/spirit that leaves the body behind. That in fact is the animating power source that IS the Human Being.

Not one shred of actual evidence exists. Not one! A hell of a lot of conjecture and made-up shyte...but not any evidence of any of it! You rely on the same mythical beliefs as did a pagan a few thousand years ago, or a Xtian, or any other human believing what they did...all myths.

The righteous meek will enter heaven upon their death. Proverbs 14:32. "...the righteous hath hope in his death" Psalm 37:11 "But the meek shall inherit the earth". Right now, it does not matter what your religion is or who your god is, it won't be important until the end, the death of the Messiah. Both the wicked and the righteous come in all races, creeds, and colors. The wicked go to hell, a bottomless pit and black hole.

Of course there's not going to be any proof.
That's why I mentioned about making speculations and assuming things based on what we choose personally to believe in or not to believe in.
That's why I expressed that ONLY the DEAD knows the answer
If you would have actually paid attention to what you was reading from what I actually said then you would have not jumped the gun about it thus making an ass out of yourself.
Pay attention next time instead of just looking for something to disagree with.

You willingly would bank your life on some archaically-primitive Bronze-Age mammal's

... HERE ya go then, Sir!...
Harken Hank to these clear mince-free scratchings from ancient dead animal skins:
"For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.... Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom." - Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10 NIV ...
That's it,... My Brother,...
You are TERMINATED!... KAPUT!!
You enter what the scripture poetically calls:
"THE LAND OF OBLIVION!" - Psalm 88:12 NIV
That says is all!!!...
HOWEVER!!,...
If the above be not to your liking, Mr. Hank,...
then just rip those verses outta your bible....
I've got a whole bunch of other contrary bible verses ...
that tell you stories about the dead being alive in cloudy heavens and burning hells.
We aim to please all religious tastes with a plethora of bible-versed opinions!
Hardie-Har-Har!
Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10 would seem to take care of those that believe in purgatory but it would not remove the possibility of a resurrection. It would also be a problem for those that believe you are either in heaven or hell after death,

When you die only your physical body dies, your soul continues to exist. It leaves the body, goes to what most people call Heaven, where it is judged by God to see if it has spiritually evolved enough to enter Heaven. The judgment process is really not for God's benefit, as he already knows if a soul qualifies, it is to make the soul see ALL that it is, it's strengths/weaknesses, goodness/evilness, shortcomings/strong points, etc, without any chance of avoidance or self deceiving.

From there, the soul either enters Heaven, or gets returned to earth to complete it's life's goals/lessons, or for another life cycle.
