A Rainbow is created when light is passed through water or a prism...

The water or prism, splits the sunslight into their different colors or wavelengths...

I think my son learned that is about grade 5 or so...

You should maybe get your nose out of the bible and educate yourself....

It Freaked out ancient man because they didn't understand it, so they explain it away that "God " created it....

Sorry man, but you just showed your scientific ignorance. Any grade schooler knows the science behind the water cycle and a rainbow. I think it is good that you have spiritual faith but please, don't make this your only source of education. Even Jesus said, "man does not live by bread alone", so please, read other things like science and you will be that much more knowledgeable.
