Hello: Does it have to be a word used here? I always chuckle at "plethora".

And what about "strudel"? I LOVE that word because you can use it in a sentence and it makes people wonder what the heck you're talking about..

I think I'll just strudel that for today.

Words are great....

LOL, i didn't break my own rule, i don't even know what a fundie is (sad but true). It just sounds funny to me. If it didn't have a definition to it, it still sounds funny. Yet if Christian or Atheist didn't have definitions to them i bet nobody would say these are funny words. FREAK only said those words because of the definition.
A fundie is what most Christians are. So quit stalling, you broke your own rules, now punish yourself. Don't make me come over there and visit you and give you nightmares.

P*ssy, which used to mean a kitty cat. And now female anatomy. I got an old childrens book once and was reading it to the kids and my husband was just shaking he was laughing so hard. It went...

Look at my happy p*ssy
she makes me so happy too

Pretty little p*ssy
today what shall we do?

I like to play with my p*ussy
I pet her silky fur..

And on and on. I thought the man was going to need to be air lifted out.

Yes, funny how the meanings of some words morph over time. Kind of ruins the Christmas carol "Don we now our GAY apparel.". Hmm...

Yes exactly. Once that book was just a cute little kids books-now in would be considered raunchy.

Fundie is short for fundamentalist, usually referring to fundamentalist christian. I won't try to define that.

It can be used as a pejorative or just a friendly colloquialism. I use it both ways. It's all about the context baby! ;-)

Oh, and I disagree with Seen, MOST christians are NOT Funides. I don't even believe that most christians in the US are fundies.

I believe they're simply the ones who are screaming at the top of their lungs about everything. They're the ones who are trying to turn the country into a theocracy, and attempting to remove rights from anyone who doesn't think just like them.
