Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he comes, he must continue a short space. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition.<quoted text>No, but you certainly will.
Revelation 21:8 (NKJV)
8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
These 'seven kings' are the 'seven heads' who are the four beasts of Daniel 7. There are only FOUR beasts in all of Revelation and Daniel totaling seven heads. Then an eighth head arises out of the 7th.
The woman rides the beast, and sits upon the seven hills.
17:9 And here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.
'Heads'/'mountains'/'beast' are all synonymous.
Notice v.11 reads the 8th king is a beast. The fourth and final beast has been the Roman Empire. Horn / kings can rule a nation or an empire. The beast is always an empire.
The seven heads / kings:
Babylonian empire (1) head
Medo-Persian empire (2) head
Greek empire (3,4,5,6) heads
Roman empire (7,8) heads
The 7th head was that sea beast - 1260 year holy roman empire.
Following 1798 the holy roman empire ended by the rise of the new world order, and all the world wondered after this beast:
Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
There is not going to be a revived holy roman empire. It fell and is dead. Long gone. The wound is not going to heal. The 7th head was wounded as the 8th took over.
So all this was fulfilled long ago. Today we are in chapter 19 just before the Second Coming!
