Neither Jesus nor His disciples refer to a single verse from those books. They have off-the-wall comments, such as stating a women's wrongdoing is a greater sin than a man's. They sanction everything from suicide to assassination. At the Council of Trent, the RCC put their stamp of approval upon them as inspired canon.
