There comes a peace when you know God loves you and is not lurking, waiting for you commit an offense. Do you know what scripture I am referring to?

Matthew 11:28-30

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

My issue is not with Christmas itself, but the way it is celebrated now. Christianity has let the world completely take this holiday from them even though it wasnt theirs to begin with. Make it a religious holiday again and stop worrying about offending everyone with something simple as merry Christmas and let the holiday be about celebrating the birth of Christ rather that pointless shop til you drop and gift giving and decorations.

I agree though I've recieved love letters sealed with a kiss.
Still kind of weird in a sweet kind of way.

I love you, nano. I didn't kiss the screen though, just blew a kiss at it.

"We who with unveiled faces contemplate/reflect on the LORD'S Glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the LORD, who is the Spirit." - The LORD is the Spirit. http://bible.cc/1_corinthians/12-13.htm

http://bible.cc/2_corinthians/3-18.htm

Jesus said this: http://bible.cc/john/14-9.htm and this http://bible.cc/john/12-49.htm , http://bible.cc/john/7-16.htm . Remember to read the Cross references to the right as well - beautiful information you can "comtemplate/reflect on" and hold on to for when the need arises.

"It is because of Him (The Father) that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from GOD--that is (GOD The Father has made Jesus Christ), our righteousness, holiness and redemption." The Lamb of/from GOD.

Christmas Bells by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

"I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

Till, ringing, singing on its way,
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime
A chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

Then from each black accursed mouth
The cannon thundered in the South,
And with the sound
The carols drowned
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

It was as if an earthquake rent
The hearth-stones of a continent,
And made forlorn
The households born
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

And in despair I bowed my head;
"There is no peace on earth," I said;
"For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!"

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
"God is not dead; nor doth he sleep!
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men!"
