Maybe you should try that sometime.

I mean it doesn't even have to be an excellent one. Just make a point.

My brother isn't here for the rest of the weekend, but I can tell you what he would say. First he doesn't answer evil comments second you just got to look at the source. And if you don't like this idea go to the store and buy that movie call "Dumb and Dumber" watch it, there you will get your answer to those two comments. Understand what I am saying HG to you?

NO $hit Enoch did not make the cut.Book of Enoch just one of twenty-two books mentioned in the Bible, but not included. Don't you wonder why that book was kept from you by a vote of powerful rich ruling man?
PLUS the Book of Enoch was part of the bible with the DEAD SEA scrolls. It was considered scripture by many early Christians. The earliest literature of the so-called "Church Fathers" is filled with references to this mysterious book. The early second century "Epistle of Barnabus" makes much use of the Book of Enoch. Second and Third Century "Church Fathers" like Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Origin and Clement of Alexandria all make use of the Book of Enoch. Tertullian even called the Book of Enoch "Holy Scripture".
BUT BUT BUT it's 73 books in the Bible, which has been unchanged since the very first centuries when the Church defined the Bible contents in the late fourth century.
Should we follow fallible men or follow God?

God has preserved His Holy Word exactly the way He wanted it.

Jesus (God come in the flesh) made it clear what Old Testament books were considered Holy Writ when He made the statement in Luke 11:51: "From the blood of Abel (Gen 4:8) unto the blood of Zacharias" (2 Chronicles 24:21)....(the first and last people to have their blood shed in the OT), which is the Jewish canonical order of our same 39 OT books. The Jews just arranged the OT books differently (Genesis to 2 Chronicles).....whereas we arrange them from Genesis to Malachi.

Since Jesus is God the Son, I'm quite certain that He is right on what books make up the Old Testament Canon.

What else does Satan do?? He wants to rob you of your spiritual inheritance. He wants to steel your joy, destroy your finances, control your home/life, destroy your relationship and manipulate your thought life. I am telling you by the authority of Jesus' name, take it back today!! Don't give Satan another moment of control!! As I have said before, "You are a child of the living God, Act like it, talk like it and think like it."
Once you believe that you are a child of the King, you can put Satan on notice and he will go find someone else to bother. Your life should be a reflection of Jesus Christ. Are you doing enough or the Kingdom that Satan feels threatened?? Do you get on your knees every night and whine to God about all that you can't do?? Or do you get on your knees and thank Him for what you can do through His almighty power??
Your god is about as real as the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. He's nothing but a fairy tale invented to brainwash mankind and prevent them from reasoning or questioning authority. That's what it's for-control and power. The kings long ago used to claim that this so-called deity had control over them, so everything they said and did was "right."

It's not "steel," that's a noun, not a verb. Satan is also another myth your religion thought up to control and delude people. If anything, your religion is far from loving, Preacherman. Christianity alone has murdered thousands throughout the past few centuries simply for not conforming. The Crusades, the Inquisition, the Salem Witch Trials, the abortion doctor killings, the LRA in the Middle East led by Joseph Kony, The Holocaust...almost all of those were caused by religionists.

You and I both should be glad that your God does not exist...he is a sadistic, bloodthirsty tyrant. Do you even notice the scriptures where he murders people?

"Death to Followers of Other Religions

Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed.(Exodus 22:19 NAB)"

Kill the Entire Town if One Person Worships Another God

Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)

"Kill Brats

From there Elisha went up to Bethel. While he was on his way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him. "Go up baldhead," they shouted, "go up baldhead!" The prophet turned and saw them, and he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two shebears came out of the woods and tore forty two of the children to pieces.(2 Kings 2:23-24 NAB)"

Does any of this sound loving to you?

So is it 66 books or 73 books in the bible?

What of all the books the bible tells of but does not include?

If the bible is the work of a god why did he tell of these other books?

Why were a group of power rich rulers needed to pick and choice the books?

How did Jesus have anything to do with the new testament as he was long dead before it was written? That's right "magic".

Some of the people on these thread are saying things about the way I believe. There is only one way to believe in the word of God and that way is Gods way.
God tailors His words so that each individual can understand it.
The bible is not the only source. I think, for me I know, God speaks His words in real time to those that will listen.
Do you only rely on those ancient words or does God speak personally to you 24/7. Even in dreams!

He's not too educated or in denial, most likely both, on the origins and history of the bible. Can't cure stupid.

IMO the important thing to remember is that when the Bible was written is not as important as what was written. God's Presence has always been; mankind was present on Earth eons before the printed word; God, in ways known only to Him, has always made Himself known to mankind in ways other than the printed word.

lol, Nuts, you will use any mean to support your twisted mind set. Catholic websites just so happen to be your most commonly used. Which brings up the fact of how poorly you represent the Catholic faith. By definition, you're not a catholic.

Satan has deceived you.

Revelation 12:9 (NKJV)
9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, WHO DECEIVES THE WHOLE WORLD; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
