If these scientists are so infallible, why haven't any of their predictions come true in the past 45 years?
45 years is well within their predicted timelines,.....that is...... until 5 years ago when they shifted to hundreds of years so nobody could be around to catch them in their lies.
ps: there are plenty of dissenting scientists, it's just the tyranny of intolerant ideological science holding them quiet.
But the veil of fraternal deceit is fading as truthful people speak out increasingly from the science community.
Hey Cisco,

I guess it's not those intolerant ideological tyrants telling you what you want to hear.

It doesn't matter what you conclude. You've already admitted you are unqualified. Curiously, this morning's Gospel was John 10 which contains the passage you reference. Christ is talking about sheep, however, so 'gate' is a more appropriate translation.

And "Going Green" is a movement to stop poisoning Americans for profit.

What a lot of bologna you threw out here. How about backing up your opinions with facts?

What are the predictions made for the last 45 years? Link.

The fact that global warming increased doesn't make them wrong.

There are no CLIMATE scientists who are dissenting. Only bogus ones paid by the rich religious corporations and polluting machines who major in health science, etc.

Baloney?.........Here's some more Red Meat for you to chew on.

The most accurate data -- from satellites -- confirms that there has been virtually no global warming since 1998.

The media insist otherwise by publicizing local variations in unscientific surface thermometers, when the more scientific atmospheric temperature do not show such an increase.

Moreover, natural periods of global warming and global cooling are expected to occur regardless of human activity, and not long ago liberals were demanding more government control to combat an alleged cooling in temperatures, with some scientists warning of a possible ice age.
(Science: Another Ice Age? Time magazine, Monday, Jun. 24, 1974)

The Climategate scandal revealed how liberal scientists appeared to be deceiving the public with the use of fraudulent data for use as climate science. The liberal media has attempted to bury the story and discount it as the work of computer hackers illegally stealing data, however, Freedom of Information requests is likely what led to the data being leaked — intentionally.

Dr. Willie Soon, a physicist, astronomer and climate researcher at the solar and stellar physics division of the Harvard University-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, said in an interview, "The Climatic Research Unit climate scientists are making scientific progress more difficult now. This is a shameful, dark day for science."
Dr. Soon also suggested that there has been systemic suppression of dissenting opinion among scientists in the climate change community, ranging from social snubs to e-mail stalking and even threats of harm.

You are right about one thing; there has been a lot of talking, big headline stories in media, exaggerations of all sorts, that is the ways of people who will go by their emotions.

The facts are that the world population has been growing from less than 2 billion in the first half of 1900 up to presently more than 7 billion and still growing rapidly.
In addition, we are spending more resources than ever before, cutting down forests and burning fossil fuels like lunatics.

Science and technology gave us new possibilities for a better life but we are just living our opportunistic lives with no concern for the totality, greed is our true “God”.
If the people who like to name themselves religious actually had some respect for “Gods” creation; then they would be the first to work for moderation in respect of population growth and consume of all sorts.

However, no, they are the ones to push things to the limit and beyond that.

Someone said; “The devil is greedy and he always want more and more people coming to him and there is plenty of room over there, hell is infinite.”

I don’t know the exact name of their deity.

"I would like to ask all those who have positions of responsibility in economic, political and social life, and all men and women of goodwill: let us be 'protectors' of creation, protectors of God's plan inscribed in nature, protectors of one another and of the environment."
- Pope Francis, Inauguration, 3/19/13

The Catholic Church brings a distinct perspective to the discussion of environmental questions, by lifting up the moral dimensions of these issues and the needs of the most vulnerable among us. This unique contribution is rooted in Catholic teaching calling us to care for creation and for "the least of these." (Mt 25:40) Of particular concern to the Church is how environmental problems and our response to these challenges will affect poor and vulnerable people at home and around the world.

In response to Pope John Paul II's groundbreaking 1990 World Day of Peace message entitled Peace With God the Creator, Peace With All of Creation, the full body of U.S. Catholic bishops adopted their first statement on the environment, Renewing the Earth: An Invitation to Reflection and Action on Environment in Light of Catholic Social Teaching. In this foundational statement the bishops draw attention to the ethical dimensions of the ecological crisis, exploring the link between ecology and poverty and the implications of environmental degradation for human life and dignity......

Well said by the Pope Francis and he is the leader of the most powerful religious organisation in the world.

Catholics have often lead the way with how the world focuses itself. Pope Frances and his emphasis on the poor has sent a ripple effect up and down the globe where people are now focusing on helping the rich less, the poor more.

You might study statistics over population growth in countries with a low number of religious people and then countries with a high rate of extremely religious people.

It goes from negative growth up to 4-5 % a year.
With 5 %, the population will double within 14 years and we have seen the results several places around the world.
With 4 %, it is 17, 5 years, with 3 % it is 23 years, and so on.

Religious leaders have a major responsibility for the future of humanity.

The strategy of outnumbering non-religious people or other religions by a higher birth rate is suicidal and everybody will lose.

Glaciers and arctic ice are melting at a faster rate than has been normal in the past. It's the increase of greenhouse gases as in the past warmings that is the cause.
The Earth could care less about us puny humans and the Earth will recover as it has in the past.
My concern is the accelerated change that near future generations won't be able to handle without a huge amount of suffering.

Bush has nothing to do with this calamity.

Since 1872 the USA has been the world's economic leader.

You're falling for a snow job if you think glaciers are melting because of man caused global warming.

IN FACT....Glaciers are growing.......Let's check in with Real Scientists.....

"Antarctic Ice: A Global Warming Snow Job?

"A recent study, no shocker to real climatologists (but perhaps to climate doomsayers), demonstrates this simple physics. It appears in the latest SciencExpress,
and it shows that the vast majority of the Antarctic landmass is rapidly gaining ice and snow cover...."

"The fact is that the vast majority of global warming stories that have come out of Antarctica are based upon observations and events on and around the Peninsula. This isn’t surprising as it conforms to my theory of “Predictable Distortion” recently published in my book Meltdown. Indeed, the number of stories about Antarctic melting is roughly in inverse proportion to the percentage of the Antarctic continent that they pertain to (and thus their global significance). For instance, most of Antarctica has actually been cooling for the past couple of decades (see here for more details). And now comes word that the snow and ice cover over large portions of Antarctica has been increasing, leading to a drawdown of global sea level."

The US lost that leadership under Reagan with the first stock market drop. And then getting rid of regulations and anti-trust laws and paying corporations to move overseas added more to it.

Too bad you don't know your political history. The republicans have held our economy hostage and for the first time, dropped our ratings....but you knew that.
