You might have a point. Nevertheless, people are killed for far less reasons.

There is no lesser reason to kill than religion.

I get your point but do we really want to say that some people are better off as slaves?

How best to handle that issue ethically?

Also...I don't ever recall any of the biblical writers being 'anti-science'....

Maybe someone could find the passage where Jesus said 'Science is evil'....

You clearly knew them personally. You must be very old.

Where in the bible, do any of the prophets or apostals speak out against innovation and or 'science'?

Who went "a-postal"?

Why are there no HDMI specs in the bible?

Cause the bible, or those who wrote it, were writing on 'moral' issues, not math...

That's like saying why are there no HDMI specs in an english manual or plumbers guide book...context...

This idea that 'god' is or was hostile to science and technology...which there was plenty of back then...(relative to the times)....comes from whom?

Strawman. People that regard the bible as literally true are anti-science.

The bible was written during mythological times...Science did not come into play until about 200 years ago.

There was plenty of 'science' dureing biblical times...relatively speaking...

In that they had buildings and structures, and had to use 'science' to invent compounds to build the structures with, and medicines, shoes, clothing, large structures, temples were build that even today have people baffled...

Metalurgy was used, metal smiths, glass on and on...

So there was science back then, relative to those times...
But i don't remember (at least from the scriptures) where 'god' or his prophets or the apostles ever were hostile towards the idea of 'scientific progression'...

If so, when the bible is proven wrong, as it repeatedly is, believers should let it drop.

Your not even making sense right now, relative to the simple question I asked...

If I'm right about this 1 thing, just admit it..so we can move the conversation forward...

If not, I'll move on without you...

The bible was a series of books, written over a centurian...

Was the Roman empire 'mythological'?

Is Superman mythological, or 'Batman'?
Or the 'Star Wars' series?
Or Mickey Mouse and Disneyland?

Sci-fi/Mythology has been around forever...but so has logic...

From your recollection, can you find where any of the prophets or apostles were 'anti-science'??

Ok, well anyways...obviously no one can find where the apostles, the prophets, or even a 'god quote' was 'anti-science'....

So now we can move on...

Next question...if God, his prophets, and the apostles weren't 'anti-science'...then where did this notion come from??
