Peace,

I just wanted to ask, if King James was gay, what does that mean about his version of the Bible or the version whose translation is credited to him?...

I hope that no Christian feels bad about me asking that. I would just to like to hear some answers to this question from anyone, Christian or not.

King James 1 gave the command for translation. He did not do translation work .
James might have had curved spine. Never read anything about him being any thing else.
Maybe you're thinking Edward 2nd?

No Sir/Ma'am, I'm talking about King James I. I know that this comes from the internet but here are three articles from Wikipedia.org that I found:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_I_of_Engla... says that he authorized the translation of the Bible, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_relatio... says that he had male lovers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Authorised_King_... says that he did give instructions to the translators on how to translate.

Then why does the KJV condemn gays?

Well actually the KJV says, "all things are lawful..." Other versions might say the same thing, but still if King James gave direction on the Bible's translation does his being bisexual have anything to do with his directions? What were his directions? Does his being bisexual mean anything to Christians who believe in his version of the Bible?...

Of course King James of the KJV translation was gay.

"On 8 August, James made Lennox the only duke in Scotland.
Then fifteen years old, the king was to remain under the influence of Lennox for about one more year.

Lennox was distrusted by Scottish Calvinists, who noticed the physical displays of affection between favourite and king and alleged that Lennox "went about to draw the King to carnal lust".

Throughout his youth, James was praised for his chastity, since he showed little interest in women.
After the loss of Lennox, he continued to prefer male company."

Of course, when it comes to the British, it's hard to distinguish between Gays and Englishmen.

Well I've heard a lot of good about the British, so I DON'T hate them. I wont say what the good that I heard about them is but I heard that they are actually some very good people (SMILE.)

God overruled King James, even in the KJV.

" And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another;"

"reprobate mind"

"God gave them up"

Romans 1:26-30 (KJV)
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Peace,

I wont be posting anymore. The One True God has caused me or allowed me to see that I shouldn't talk the way that I do. By the "One True God" I mean the God of Elijah Muhammad and Louis Farrakhan, Who is the God of the Bible and Holy Qur'an. I am NOT a Muslim however.

Peace.

God of the Bible is the God of Israel.
