1 Why not? Many have gotten rich off of the fables of evolution. |

Hey Wayne, where did ya go?
I'm floatin' around. lol Funny you should mention evolution. That's where I been spending most of my time, battling the apes. lol I believe that to be a good book. I just might order it. |
People like Edwards get rich off gullible people like YOU who think they can screw demons. Difference being THIS book is based on the truth, the bible. |
I don't watch his show or buy his books. I think he's doing good work, though. |
Then,, why couldn't he recreate his "talking" to the dead in a controlled environment? You DO know he is scamming millions from the gullible don't you? Is that good work? Don't get me wrong, there are many so-called "preachers" scamming too. I think they ALL should be run out of town on a rail. |
Do you have a link to this? Seems you follow stories about him more than I do. I wasn't even aware such an experiment had been done. |

I found two links. And you'' have to buy one. lol http://www.amazon.com/ABC-News-Psychic-John-E... http://www.re-quest.net/entertainment/movies-... |
The first link won't load and the second link is speculation without evidence and certainly doesn't contain any sort of laboratory test. |
I'm curious about the ABC interview, but I'm certainly not paying $15 for it. The other link, again, contains no controlled testing of John's abilities. You'll need better evidence than this. You claimed he couldn't do his thing in a controlled environment. None of your links contain such a thing unless perhaps it's in that first link that wouldn't load for me even after I put it together properly. |

All this effort is futile.
Science doesn't cuddle up to peoples emotional pleading, no matter however pervasive. What guides science is nature it's self! So far there is no evidence for a creator. I am sorry but there isn't. |
I don't blame you for not paying the $15.00 but that IS the evidence. I remember watching it. He got nervous and a little testy. Didn't do NEAR as good in his "guessing." |
lol Nature guides science? Just WHO do you think created nature? |
Any chance it's somewhere for free? Youtube maybe? |

Thanks Kirdy and Wayne. Now I have to buy another book.
By the way, under the amazon reviews I found this: "This book explains how the main so-called 'mechanism of evolution', natural selection, can be shown to actually disprove the theory of evolution. For example, a bird's wings (or flying reptile's) have to be perfectly designed for them to function. A prototype wing, that couldn't really bring flight, would have no reason to be 'selected' for further development. In fact, it would make the animal more likely to be encumbered and a prey to other animals." See, that type of idle speculation shouldn't be associated, in my opinion, with Christianity. First of all, there is a general misunderstanding of evolution here. The prototype wing doesn't need to be useful to survive. It just needs to not be a hindrance. Second, we have no way of knowing that it wasn't useful. For instance, the prototype wing could have been spread to make the "flying lizard" as the book calls them look bigger and therefore scare off predators. In that case, the protowings would be beneficial and continuing to grow them bigger would create greater benefit. See, this is all just stupid and serving no purpose for God. |
Possibly. Just do a John Edwards search I guess. |
