Really a crazy story, thats for sure. Waiting to hear more details...but I cant imagine being "afraid" of a sweet thing like her.

IMO, this story points to how carefully we should be in our adoration of all men and women. Like we need to start to be really stingy with it. I'm all for giving people like him opportunity to be better, etc - but we have to stop idolizing them at the same time. Most people who live to extremes - as it sounds like he did - are a tad whacked in the head. It just bites us in the arse way too often.

The Paralympics was such a success in the UK that we still have a topical comedy show called the "Last Leg", so called because two of its of three presenters are missing their right feet. It's one of my favourite shows.

I really felt for them, having to deal with that on Friday's show.

In the UK, we have several well known Paralympians, but I feel that some other countries only know of Oscar and his acts may well impact the sponsorship for disability sport.

The post above refers to 'Disabilty sport' which is surely an Oxymoron.
Such 'Sports' are typically 'played' by people who are trying to pretend they are normal when the fact is that for whatever reason or circumstance they are NOT.
