"Today you have about 20 million people who buy all of Ann Coulter's books, watch Rush Limbaugh. Send money into the televangelists. It's all the same people," explained Schaeffer, adding, "It's not a big percentage. It's just a loud percentage. This is the drunk on the subway making trouble in the car for all of the people on the subway. There are 100 decent citizens on there, there is one ass in the front that's molesting women. That's the Republican Party now in terms of the loud car."
The word is ouch!! and from what was one of their own no less..
But I suspect there will be a circling the wagons and denouncing.. But he is speaking the truth.. Where is the republicans? I tell you were.. Still trying to play partisan politics. Still trying to act like it was still last year.
I don't know how any one else voted. But I want a government to work together.. Not be pointing figers and saying it was all their fault.. 2010 is coming kiddies. the republican party best get its collective head of their a$$ ends if they want to be around for much longer..

Is it a personal aversion, or because of certain policy views she has? And what do you think is the right thing for the nation? The tired Reoublican politics is negativity, of course; and the flag of ideology is over-fervent nationalism, perhaps - or what? just curious?

The Republicans are circling the wagons and defending rush the magnificent! and they are gathering forces to support one or two conservatives who may be challengingSenator Specter i the Republican primary in 2010. There will be several other open seats where Republicans are retiring. I am willing to bet that there will be a big push to get extreme right-wing candidates to run. Cornyn is the chairman of the Senate Republican Campaign Committee. the only good thing about him is his feud with that idiot Bunning - well, Bunning was a good pitcher once!

I am going to make a pest of myself, but you are always nice about it. For the sake of others who love calico cats, please give the site again. and what exactly do you recommend - are you talking about when you use the term church - was it a metaphor?- did you mean religious right-wing nuts or political right-wing nuts, and what sort of moderate views would make sense to you? I personally think that these right-wingers are not even conservatives, but extreme radical right-wing reactionaries, both on religoin and politics.

One that would stay out of politics, social issues and stick to the bible. What did it for me was witnessing 3 men in an assembly of god church back a young man back against a wall and physically intimidate a guy who let slip he was going to vote for kerry. I remember their singing words "If you'd vote for Kerry you must be a fag lover." I saw icabod written on the wall and the whole illusion shattered.

I have to google that cat every time look for badcat in google images.

Here is something even cuter

Why would that make you happy? I'd try and shield anyone from knowing what I know. That our life is a single sparkle reflected from a speck of glitter so tiny it needs hundreds like it to be noticed but the glitter is falling over an area the size of the pacific.

You're not even the piece of glitter, just a single reflectioof off one. No wonder they invented a God

I saw him in person many, many years ago at the church I was attending. We were both full of ourselves back in those days. I only hope he abandons religion completely. He's smart enough to know that you can't redeem it. All the good that it does is far outweighed by the evil it brings on this world.

If Satan was real, religion would be his primary tool of destruction. And yes if you're a Christian, you follow a religion, sorry to break it to you. Schaeffer knows the dark side of religion better than almost anyone--I wish him luck.
