A better question is WHY did GOD create YOU and all THEM just like YOU?We often read about Godís anger, wrath, jealousy, etc. throughout the Old Testament?
... That should naturally make one wonder:
"WHY IS GOD ALWAYS SO ANGRY?"
'tis most fitting for us to wonder about this stuff.... Why?... Because according the Genesis 3 and Romans 5, our dying is a direct result of God being angry about ... THINGS!
According to the evolutionary model, death (and the violence that goes with it) is part of the natural way of things. In fact, according to progressive-evolution, death is life's friend. Without death to weed out the weaklings,...
why, Earth couldnít enjoy the "Survival of the Fittest" arena!
Take the Adam and Eve story; ... DEATH was Godís punishment for Adam and Eve for disobeying God in Eden. This logically raises the question: why impose a death sentence?
A just "Eye-For-Eye" punishment (if it's called for) would be to send Adam and Eve to their room for a night without dinner,...
or some such trivial punishing spank!...
I could better imagine the irate Father-God shouting,
"NAUGHTY, NAUGHTY,... TSK, TSK, TSK!...
YOU BAD-BAD CHILDREN!... HaRuMMF,... GO TO YOUR ROOM!"
Same for the flood. People became sinful enough to make God so mad-as-hell that God regretted that he created any life on earth....
His verdict: "Sh!t,.. I'm jest gonna drown every f*ckin' thing!"
If you skim through the Old Testament you'd see that God was often angry and imposed (many times) mass physical discomfort or death!
The question is "why does god go ape-sh!tty mad over puny sins?"
"It would be an interesting project for someone to catalogue every instance of a Mad God in the Old Testament and provide (1) the passage,(2) the offending party,(3) the precise offense and (4) the divine reaction (either threatened or carried out)." - Peter Enns
And hereís the flip side of that issue. In the New Testament, God seems different. Some of the things that God angrily reacted to in the OT, where disobedience resulted in some form of punishment or death, seem to have gone by the wayside in the New Testament.
Comedian Lewis Black jokingly wondered if having a son mellowed God out a bit!...
VOILA!!... Hooray, Kiddies,... I think I found the answer to "Why God is SO Mad?"!!
An in depth psychological midnite-oil-burnin' search revealed that God is so full of anger because he is a CHRONIC INSOMNIAC!...
That's right, Folk!...
God never slept a wink over the 15-billion years from when he began creating this mess!
READ THIS REVELATION:
"Indeed,(God) who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps."
- Psalm 121:4 NLT
"The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the earth Does not become weary or tired." - Isaiah 40:28 NASB
"If God were for a moment to "faint" or "be weary," to "slumber" or "sleep," the whole fabric of nature would fail and disappear, universal chaos would set in, all moral order would cease - all existence, except his own, sink into nothingness." - Matthew Henry
Acute Insomnia can last from one night to a few weeks. Insomnia is called Chronic when a person suffers at least 3-nights a week for a month or longer (let alone 15 billion years).
Causes of chronic insomnia include:
Depression and/or anxiety
(fits with biblegod's prognosis; OT says he's regretful, anxious and stresses over sins, etc.)
Symptoms of insomnia can include:
Irritability (among others)!
(Biblegod is characterized as being easily and often IRRITATED! For instance BibleGod constantly "hates 7-things"!)
So now I can feel a bit sorry for God....
If I'd never experienced the pleasures of a restful night's sleep,... not even enjoying a nap or a wink for over 15-billion years,... HELL's BELLS,...
I guess that I'd stay "MAD AS HELL", too; ... jest like him!
So, I'm sending Biblegod a truckload of "ZZZQUIL" and a great big Thor-size mallot!!
Why God is Mad

Thank God, He takes His anger out on those who make Him mad.

But he's really only mad because he forgot to include most of him. Gods not happy with a 155 pound bag of fail
Are you speaking from first hand experience? Yes or no?

You wanna know?
Know thyself. Know thine own self.
Know the truth of yourself.
When you know the truth of yourself, you'll better understand why God does what He does - in fact, you'll be able to figure the "why" of almost anything!
But a word of caution:. some truth of yourself will be terrible. Facing it can be horrifying AND dangerous. Do NOT try to face THAT truth alone. Instead, let the Lord be with you.
Now I'm having second thoughts about even posting this information to you, but I'm going to anyway.
I'll just hope neither of us will be sorry I did.
Man ... Know ... Thyself. To know onesself is to know it all. All there is to know is within man himself. So I agree partly with you.
