Oh, and for the evangels here, you'd better get your girl, Ms. Carrie Prejean under control. First she bought a new set of boobz, next she put the gay down, then she tries to sue the pageant and they basically say, sure and show the sex tape little Ms. born again made. Gotta love the role models for girls with these fundie chicks. At least biker chicks tell the truth. Carrie Prejean and Anita Bryant, two girls who got their start flashing tyts and teeth to the wind in a bathing suit. And lived to tell the evangelical tale...

I agree with Liam on many of his opinions of Christian scripture. But then again, I'm an evil lesbian so....:)

Well, gee... it's called "science". Ya see, what those psychologists are doing is research and investigation. That "small group" has examined the evidence and has demonstrated that any claims about changing a person's orientation are bull. Once they have done this investigation, they pass this information on to others in the field so the others don't keep trying to do something that does not work. No matter how long you talk at someone, you can't change their genetic code. Homosexuality is not a psychological issue, it is biological. However, a good shrink can help a person deal with being homosexual and learn to accept themselves for who they are, and not just for who they sleep with.

Sort of like back when the doctors finally figured out that slapping a leech on someone was not very likely to actualy cure any diseases. Fun fact time: there was a U.S. president who DIED from leeches and blood letting. He fell ill during his inaguration, the "doctors" of the day did what they knew, but no matter how much blood they let out, his humors would not balance, and he died from blood lose.

Now, modern medical research has found out that there are a small number of very specific conditions that actualy CAN be improved through the use of leeches. Go figure.

Oh, silly child... the things that I post about the Messiah are NOT opinion, but a simple and straightforward statement of what the Bible says about the matter. It is quite simple. IF there is ANY truth in the Bible, then the Messiah of prophecy has not come. No opinion, just an examination of what is written in black and white.

Fact: numerous prophecies state that the Messiah will bring an era of peace. Even if we assume that it means peace only for Israel, that prophecy has NOT been fulfilled.

Fact: the prophecies state that sacrifices will take place in the Temple. Currently, the Muslims occupy the site of the Temple, and until they ar gone, the Temple cannot be rebuilt, nor can prayers and sacrifices take place there.

Fact: all twelve tribes will be reunited. Currently, the ten Lost Tribes are still lost.

There's more. Do you recognize these, or shall I trot out the chapter and verse? So, unless you can demonstrate that I somehow missed seeing world peace, my statements about the Messiah are not opinion, but fact.

Hi Golem: Adam was male, so describing a helper that would come from Adam could have made it necessary to use the masculine form, however it is obvious that Eve was not masculine except in the sense that she was the feminine form of the masculine Adam.
I'm sorry, Samson, but that makes no sense whatsoever. My point is that G-d could have used the feminine "ozeret," but chose not to do so, probably because S/HE wasn't that hung up about sexual orientation.

Tell me this, then. If anypart of the Adam would be masculine gendered, why are the words for his eye and his ear, "ayin" and "ozen" both feminine?

Ever heard of the concept of "standard of care" in medecine? When most psychologists take out malpractice insurance they agree to abide by a standard of care in therapeutic treatments, otherwise, if something goes wrong, and they are shown to have violated this standard, their insurance will not cover them in a medical malpractice suit, where the award against the psychologist can run in the millions.

Professionals in most fields do not just do whatever they make up their minds to do. They rely on the knowledge of the best experts in the particular job or client malady.

When I was still a practicing therapist, I never would have taken on a client with a problem in which I was not expert without consulting both written and live authorities.

Structurally, how does what you post differ from what Liam or I post? I'm not talking about content, but Liam posts as a theology student and Celtic priest, I as an aspiring Rabbi and you as a Xtian believer. Why do you believe that your position priviledged?

Take your belt to children a lot do you Straight and Proud? Hmmm! As for you saying I have pointy ears, I realise you were comparing me to a leprechaun, and fond as I am about the notion of the little fellows, allow me to let you into a secret, they don't exist. As myth is your reality, you may have difficulty grasping that. For all your posturing, the thing that stands out about you is your arrogance. You even had the neck to tell Liam that, "Pride comes before the fall my good man.", and what do you call yourself, oh yes, Straight and Proud. Watch out for that step!

Psalm 7:11 God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses his wrath every day.
Nahum 1:2 The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The LORD takes vengeance on his foes and maintains his wrath against his enemies.
These are just two of the many.
For some reason, people like yourself, have tried to twist the scriptures into meaning something they do not.
The entirety of the OT states that The Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob was very much an angry God. Full of wrath. And does infact impose His wrath on rebellious mankind.
To say that God's wrath is a sin though, again is to say something that just is not so.
John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."
Psalm 11:7 For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face.
2 Timothy 4:8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing
God's anger/wrath is not unwarrented or unrighteous.

take it up with Gregory the Great, Saitn Augustine of Hippo, John Cassian and Anthony Cassian if you feel so strongly about it

I am *sure* those four great theologians will bow to your immeasurably greater knowledge

So get your Ouija board out and get cracking if you *do* want to dispute those four great thinkers

Viktor Renquist, with every great thinker there is another that follows with a new way of thinking. With that said, one can construct how Christian thought developed. I wouldn't disagree with you in general terms, other than to observe that there are often times multiple strands of Christian thought and philosophy evolving independently and simultaneously ... a good example of this is the so called "Great Schism" of 1054 which, by the standards of most religious disputes was almost gentlmanly in the lack of violence engendered

However (you knew that was coming, didn't'cha) the four theologians I listed predate any of the current splits in church thinking or theology and thus they are part of the philosophical bedrock that all christian churches emerged from

Interestingly, even though all four are in accord on the subject of the seven deadlies, they were often at odds with one another on other issues, including some forms of heresy ... suggesting that they also had the scholar's ability to maintain reasoned debate even in emotional and politically dangerous surrounds

Yes you *do* sound like a moron. I, however, don't feel like one. I find intellect and wit to be erotically charged, thus, I would *never* feel like a moron

btw, you going up against Saint Augustine, Jon and Anthony Cassian and Gregory the Great on theological grounds is pretty much a parallel to George Bush opposing Winston Churchill, Benjamin Franklin, John Stuart Mill and Benjamin Disraeli on the grounds of political science

Silly Child?? You are a piece of work my friend. The arrogance you portray will be your downfall. You spin the truth to sell your twisted ways.
As for your post on prophecies, what part of that do you not get... a PROPHECY is an action that will take place in the future as a sign of things to come. So, in theory, you are correct that these have not happened, YET! Silly child, study up and quit spreading the venom and lies you are so dear of. I guess that is why you hang out in a gay blog community selling your snake oil in lieu of trying your hand on a theology based blog, but we all know why, you would be revealed as the serpent you are.
Being the one great and almighty that you profess who knows so much, you think you are, you then will know that you will have to answer for each and every person you deceive. But that would only be if there is a God???? Are you willing to take that chance? It appears so. One day we will all know the truth and for some it will be too late. Good luck to ya, serpent.

As for the end of your post, you might try using your thinking cap here for a bit, what I post is in a discussion format; that is what adults do, we share thoughts and cipher through the information and glean out information to help us grow. Liam posts lise and rhetoric from a position as a scorned being, trying to spread his agenda that God and Jesus were myths. So please try and keep up, your ignorance is showing through the pointy lil ears!

All I ment by my statement to Golem was that my boss knows full well what I do in my down time at my job. That is the only time I am on the computer for pleasure. I am usually alone. And this tends to break up the hours.
I type really fast and thus make a lot of gramatical errors as you will see.
Tell me LuLu. If you had the opportunity to make money and do what you like at the same time would you? And if so, would you feel bad if you had your bosses approval for doing it?
I love the Lord. I preach for free.
So yes what I said to Golem was true and accurate. When I am on the computer preaching I am also making my living.
I thank God for this fact.

So? With post like this, I find you rather unconvincing. On the other hand, have you seen "Facing the Giants" and other movies made by this church group? They are very creative and entertaining.

Liam has more sense in his big toe than you have in your entire body. Somebody disagrees with you and you immediately go on the attack. Why are you here? Huh? Fascinated with gay sex are ya? Or are you just intent on showing the world how backward and uneducated you are? Ooops...you've already done that over and over and over and over and over and over....ad nauseum.
