I get so sick of self righteous "Christians" claiming that other really good people are not saved just because they haven't "accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior". What the hell is that? Most of us probably live more "Holy" than you hypocrites. There are many truths out there that you people don't accept and you're gonna meet God and we won't. Maybe we already have met God and live that way every day while you yayhoos wait for your perceived salvation. You guys are going after clean "unclean things"
As I get so sick of people like YOU who think Jesus Christ was just another man and you think YOU are just as good. NO ONE IS GOOD IN THEIR OWN RIGHT, got that?

You can live a "holy" life all you want but until you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior you are hellbound. It really doesn't matter wht YOU think of the situation.

You are a New Age geek. I'm gonna quote the book now, hide your eyes!!

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

You are looking at the wrong way. No one is living a perfect life. These other people are not really good by God's standard. Not to live a perfect life by God's standard condemns a man. Only one has lived a perfect life. Christ is the one who paid the price for those who put their faith in Him. Those who don't will be condemned. The choice is yours.
Hey Jeff, You just said that are doomed and not saved. You said no one but Christ has lived or will live a perfect life by
God's standards. You are condemned. We are all condemned. Those other people are you and me. There is apparently no choice whatsoever according to you. If you're not Christ, you are condemned. I choose to be Christ or at least Christ-like. I don't feel condemned, but you apparently do only because of your ridiculous beliefs.

Can I ask a favor? While you are in heaven, could you please try to communicate with me in hell what I'm missing?

How can you be Christ like and not worship the true God? This is something Jesus did. Just because you don't feel condemned does not mean you are not. What it means you are incapable of knowing it in your heart and mind. You are suppressing this. That's why you don't feel it. Let me help you. Compare your life with the perfect standard of God's law. If you have broken it in any way during your life that means you are in a state of condemnation.

That will be hard to do since you won't exist anymore.

You have convinced me I am a condemned human being. I should never have lived. Time to lock and load and do away with my sinful self. I welcome death now. This is what God wants of me. I should also take out as many people as I can cause God can't stand them either.

What kind of idiots are you people? God's law? You people don't know squat about God's law. Why the hell do you think you know about anything God wants. Because of some ancient manuscript written by neanderthals? Man you guys are sick and disturbed and a menace to society when you keep spewing out that bullshit.
No wonder I shudder every time I pass a church.

Right. You shudder when you pass a church because your conscience is condemning you. You are the sick one, not us.

In my opinion.....the GREATEST threat to Christianity is Evangelistic Fundies.....those who think they are Christians, but would hang Jesus Christ on the cross all over again because he is not the person they have made him out to be!!!!

My conscience has set me free. Yours seems to have trapped you in a little box. Have fun going round and round as I explore all the wonders the universe and God has given me.

He came to save the world from evil.
Didn't do a very good job did he? For being God and all. He tried and I have the utmost respect for him.

I believe Jesus was just a man, not God for starters......and who knows why Jesus was supposedly sent.........I mean we supposedly know the story of his birth(which isn't exactly truthful), we don't hear about Jesus again until roughly around the age of 12 years old when he leaves his mother......and then again around the last 3 years of his life. What exactly did Jesus do in those years that we know nothing about?

You see Jesus as something special and I see him as just a man with lots questions about the blank periods of time we know little or nothing about!!

Exactly! I also don't believe Jesus did not talk about where and what he did to family and friends, especially to his mother. Mary, being a Jewish mom, would have drilled her boy on his where abouts. I believe people deliberately made sure Jesus's lost years were not included in the bible and any writings destroyed because the real truth would collapse the fairy tale and the power to control by the corrupt.

Most ancient bios did not deal with birth and childhood events. No scholars believe that "people deliberately made sure Jesus's lost years were not included in the bible and any writings destroyed.." There would be nothing to gain for doing this.

I can see you don't study the gospels (they clearly show Jesus as God) but approach them with your bias. You are not objective.
Why would the story of His birth not be truthful? What facts do you have that show this to be a lie?
The gospels are not an exhaustive story of His entire life. When the ancients wrote about a person's life it was not focused on their childhood but on the important events of that person's life. They were most concerned about how a person lived and died.

Jesus in his 20's is not a childhood event.

Again, NO, they don't....even Jesus himself stated, "I am NOT my father".

As to whether or not I have studied the scriptures is really irrelevant, I probably have more of an objective view of what the bible states than those who are unwilling to look at it with an open mind.

Jesus was not born on December 25 of ANY year.......he was probably born more likely 6 months after Passover, which would be more in line with a September birth instead of a December birth......in fact, in order to sway folks away from Paganism, it has been stated that the Christian Church decided to state that Jesus was born in December to replace the birth of the Pagan Sun God.

There may not be "FACTS" as you want, that say when he was actually born, but there certainly are questions as to his physical birth date and if there are questions regarding his birth, in my mind that puts questions in place about the entire aspect of Christianity!!!

However we are speaking about the Savior Jesus Christ and his life should have been important from start to finish.......not just the last 3 years of his life, don't ya think?

Oh and before you start telling someone about their beliefs with regards to God and Jesus.....you might want to know a little about their religious training.......and I have been trained both under Catholic Doctrine, as well as Born-again Christianity........and neither have the answers that you claim are factual according to the gospel!!!

Just like anything that people have not studied their insights are shallow. Agreed. Jesus was not born on Dec 25. True the church of the later centuries decided to use a pagan holiday for the birth of Christ. That was the day the church celebrated it. BTW- they didn't have christmas trees either.
I wish we did know more about the early years of Christ but we don't. The gnostic did write some interesting but false stories about His childhood.
I'm confused. What "answers are not factual according to the gospel"?

We seem to agree on pretty much everything and then you had to ask the question about the gospel.....and frankly that's we're we are probably not going to see eye to eye on.
