The Bible, God's word to man, is the best way to find out who God is, and how to please Him. We can know and please God through His Son Jesus Christ. The Bible is full of inspirational messages that can help you deal with day to day life. It can also help you help others to find Christ. We also need to know what God says about things so we won't be deceived by others who are misled or be deceived by the ones who are intentionally trying to mislead. Read it every day.

<quoted text>
The spirit is the breath of life that God puts into a person the spirit is what returns to God.
Genesis 2:7
Darby Translation (DARBY)
7 And Jehovah Elohim formed Man, dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and Man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:7
Amplified Bible (AMP)
7 Then the Lord God formed man from the [a]dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being.
Ecclesiastes 3:19
Darby Translation (DARBY)
19 For what befalleth the children of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other, and they have all one breath;...
If you keep reading in Ecclesiastes 3:20-21 "All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Who knows the spirit of man that goes upward, and the spirit of the beast that goes downward to the earth". There is a difference between the soul (body) and the spirit. The souls of all return to dust and the human spirit (breath) has the capacity to be immortal.

I'm reading between the lines, Johnny. Sometimes you have to fill in the gaps.
