Authentic genuine Christians are a microscopic minority in the entire Christian world.

I agree. I have only met about five true Christians who actually try to lives as Jesus instructed them to and even they fall very short of obeying Jesus's orders. For example,non of them that I know,sold everything they have,gave it to the poor and became homeless street disciples of Jesus.

Jesus never demanded that draconian order of his disciples.
Maybe you need to reread that gospel passage.

Funny you claim to be a keeper of 'pagan birds'?

I didn't know there was any pagan birds.

"Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are not you more important than they?"

Jesus meant what he said and he even lived that lifestyle himself. He was nothing like the majority of people who call themselves Christians today.

Pagan is for a bird I used to have named Hecate which is a pagan goddess. Birdkeeper is because I've always kept parrots and my mom raised parrots. I always helped care for them.
I currently have three Macaws.
666 is because I am a satanist.

I consider humans to also be animals and I as a member if the human species am just another animal trying to survive on the bloody planet. Humans,of course,due to our superior intellect have a responsibility to care for non-human animals.

Birds are nice.
I'm nurturing a pair of nested baby swallows on my front porch right now. Helping their parents by trying to preserve them from the +100deg heat.
They will do okay.

Environmentalism and stewardship of the planet is a very Christian pursuit. But you might want to rethink your satanist thing, satan is a deceiver.

Anyway, check this out, right off The Catholic teaching;

"Stewards of Creation-

The Bible contains a profound message about the stewardship of material creation:
God created the world, but entrusts it to human beings.

Caring for and cultivating the world involves the following:

*) Joyful appreciation for the God-given beauty and wonder of nature;

*) Protection and preservation of the environment, which would be the stewardship of ecological concern;

*) Respect for human life—shielding life from threat and assault, doing everything that can be done to enhance this gift and make life flourish; and

*) Development of this world through noble human effort—physical labor, the trades and professions, the arts and sciences. We call such effort "work." Work is a fulfilling human vocation.

The Second Vatican Council points out that, through work, we build up not only our world but the Kingdom of God, already present among us.

Work is a partnership with God—our share in a divine human collaboration in creation. It occupies a central place in our lives as Christian stewards."
