Syrian activists: entertainment

In 1958, Syria merged with Egypt to form the United Arab Republic.
Since this Middle East bold venture, there have been many economics nationalization efforts made by both countries to make themselves competitive politically in the global community.
As of 2012, Syria's oil and tourism industries in particular have been devastated, with US$5 billion lost to the ongoing conflict of the civil war. Reconstruction needed due to the ongoing civil war will cost as much as $10 billion USD. Sanctions have sapped the government's finance. US and European Union bans on oil imports, which went into effect in 2012, are estimated to cost Syria about $400 million a month (source: Wikipedia).
Syrian activists have suggested that continued efforts to promote nationalization will make Syrian oil exports a significant component in the petroleum market.
These social considerations ironically reflect the psyche marketability of relevant Hollywood (USA) movies such as "Syriana" (2005).
Are they printing movie posters on hemp/recycled paper yet?
