Apr 27, 2009 | Posted by: SongBookz | Full story: news.yahoo.com

The trouble they see is not just an America where general support for gay marriage will have driven a wedge between churches and the world, but between churches themselves.

If I were "cornered" I couldn't "run".

That post exemplifies my problem with you, quite nicely.

Again, talk to someone else. I've got to go get my carry-on inspected for the last hop.

"Normal" has always meant "normal". "Gay" has been hijacked by the fortunately minority homosexual contingent, who are certainly not normal.
"Normal" usually refers to average. However, it also refers to that which can be seen as part of the range of expected results.

Homosexuality is not average, but it is part of the expected range of results of sexual orientation.

What, you would rather have a pet unicorn than an eternity with our good Christian friend? He keeps telling us that Jesus will be there too.

Really?

In a literary sense, you couldn't run if you were cornered?

It exemplifies a problem for sure, but it isn't me.

I like to think of it as heterosexuals are common. Homosexuals are uncommon. Normal is such a subjective term.

And I really wonder just how the numbers would stack up if there was an OBJECTIVE survey done of the population, not just allowing the respondent to pick the answers they want...

Given that our nearest relatives are the bonobos, I suspect that "normal" just might be a lot closer to bisexual than many folks realize. If not actually bi, straight will still end up "normal" by a much smaller margin.

You mean most people are like David and Jonathon?

That's funny, on what basis is the claim made that lesbians make better parents than natural parents?
Who's making such a claim?
KiMare wrote:
The Regnerus study had the same outcomes as numerous studies that included adoptive, foster, step and single parents. The only added distinction was lesbian couples (no gay couples were found with long term child care).
Again, you avoid addressing why a lesbian in any one of those situations would fare better than natural parents.
Who's making such a claim?

More to the point, who says that only married people make good parents, or that only parents make real marriages?
KiMare wrote:
When all who disagree with gay marriage are generalized as fundies, I simply respond in kind with faggot. Seems like a fair point to make, don't you think?
Smirk.
That's hardly Christian of you.

Is that what you think Jesus would do?
