You just evaded the Bible again. You might pull the wool over your fellow God hating gays but the Bible exposes your lies.
Hebrews 4:12-13 (NKJV)
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Please dont compare homosexuality to the civil rights of black folks. Being born black and hated solely for the color of their skin is not the same as living a lifestyle of sexual preference that one chooses. If a gay person decided the very next day they will sleep only with the opposite sex, no one would know their past life, but a black person will always be black no matter what and cant change that and are still treated like crap because of their skin color.
Many people had to die for black folks to get basic human rights...no one had to die for gay folks to sleep with each other, so dont compare the gay movement with black civil rights or slavery
The problem is that people use the same arguments against gay marriage that were used for pro slavery/miscegenation.

Same-sex marriage:

“If God had intended for same-sex couples to marry, he would have made Adam and Steve, not Adam and Eve.”

(Source: Vermont House and Senate Judiciary Committee Public Hearings, 1/25/00, 2/1/00)

Inter-racial marriage:

“Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with his arrangement there would be no cause for such marriages. The fact that he separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix.”

(Source: Virginia trial judge upholding conviction of Mildred and Richard Loving for interracial marriage, quoted in Loving v. Virginia, 388 U.S. 1, 3(1967))

Same-sex marriage:

“Same-sex relationships are “unnatural” and “unhealthy.”

(Source: Vermont House and Senate Judiciary Committee Public Hearings, 1/25/00, 2/1/00)

Inter-racial marriage:

“The amalgamation of the races is not only unnatural, but is always productive of deplorable results. The purity of the public morals, the moral and physical development of both races, and the highest advancement of civilization ... all require that [the races] should be kept distinctly separate, and that connections and alliances so unnatural should be prohibited by positive law and subject to no evasion.”

(Source: Dissenting California Supreme Court Justice objecting to that Court’s decision striking down a state law ban on interracial marriage in
Perez_v. Lippold, 198 P.2d 17, 41 (1948),(Shenk, J. dissenting))

I'm wondering why you are focused on ancient laws that are not practiced anymore.
What about anal sex? Inherently harmful, unhealthy and demeaning. How in hell do you justify doing that to another person. Or allowing someone to do that to you?
<quoted text>
Let me get this straight. You are castigating ancient morality, and you excuse violent, harmful degradation in the present???
Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot, you're not straight.

Is oral sex immoral and degrading? Consider your answer carefully.

To be intimate or in a sexual relationship with another person is a choice, but one's sexual orientation is NOT a choice!!!

I bet you believe Gays and Lesbians should live a celibate life based on your religious beliefs, right?

You deserve to be treated like crap no matter what color you are.

Don't tell me what the f**k to call things. Civil rights are civil rights. You don't own them.

Just like a black person will always be black, a gay person will always be gay. And that's not a choice. And if a gay man decides to force himself to sleep with only women for the rest of his life, then he's still a gay man pretending to like women, stupid.

So the only point you have is that we can (sometimes) hide our sexuality but you can't hide your skin color.

Do you think that makes a f**k of difference when it comes to civil rights? Don't be a twit.

Educate yourself before you continue to embarrass yourself.

It is interesting to note that you chose to cite the later the later text.

The section in modern Mark that is taken as the "Great Commission", does not exist in the oldest extant Koine copies of the text: the "Codex Vaticanus Graecus 1209" and the "Codex Sinaiticus".

This suggests that the section you cite from Matthew, the later text, is a later addition.

Blonde,
You ARE discussing the origins of marriage. You have not yet given a reason for, or a rebuttal of my statement of the essence of marriage.
Moreover, historians can only deduce the past by the limited records available. Those records consistently substantiate marriage.
Smile.
<quoted text>
Your response is an opinion.
At it's most basic essence, marriage is a cross cultural constraint on evolutionary mating behavior.
ss couples are a direct defective contradiction to the basic purpose of mating behavior. Out of all relationships, they are the least qualified to be equated to marriage.
If you have a logical rebuttal, please let us hear it.

I agree! Cooperation is great. It is not, however, morals or ethics.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with manipulating that cooperation to my advantage if there is no God. In fact, it would be the smart thing to do!
In fact, your amorality allows you to twist truth, ignore harm and bully people on here to satisfy your defective sexual desire.
Smile.
First off, "morals" and "ethics" are the same thing. "Morals" comes from Latin "mores", and "ethics" comes from the Greek "ethos". Both refer to how humans should treat each other.

You are also CONFLATING morals/ethics with "values".

You then finish with the fallacy, argumentum ad hominem.

Your debate score is in the sub-basement. lol
