Depends on what you mean by 'error'. Noah's Flood never happened but it's a cute story and establishes God's covenants with man and the universe.

All the cosmological mumbo jumbo is wrong but it's the best they could do at the time.

Adam and Eve never existed but it's a cute story used to explain the never ending conflict between good and evil.

Cain and Abel never existed but the theology is profound for the time. Job never existed but the theology is far and away the best to be found in the Bible.

So yeah, the Bible is without error if you actually know what it's about.

The Church doesn't have "official" positions about every biblical account. There is no document that states: "Noah's Ark actually existed". Rather, the Church tells us that the accounts in the OT are trustworthy and of benefit to our faith.
