To: Sun Tzu

Here I give brief answers to your questions

A. You think the sun goes around the earth?

Quran does not mention expressively whether sun goes around the earth or earth goes around the sun. It uses words which could be interpreted in either way. Quran is not the book which came to teach us astronomy.

It uses words in such a manner that never go out of date.

Like we use the phrase Sunrise and Sunset, actually Sun never rises and Sun never sets, but these words are acceptable to every one . Quran says that sun, moon, stars and every thing moves in their orbits and that is true.

B. That there are 7 heavens stacked on top of each other?

You have to understand the world Heaven and number 7 as used in Arabic language. Arabic word SAMA (which is translated as heavens), is used for any thing that is above earth.

That is why Allah says in Quran that We send Rains from SAMA (i.e. skies or heavens), actually rains comes from clouds which are very near to earth. So any thing above the earth is heavens.

Similarly digit 7 is used in Arabic to denote plurality of indefinite numbers, it is not limited to exact seven.

So seven heavens one above each other could mean innumerable numbers of layers of atmosphere one above another. Which is true according to our findings of modern science.

C. That the stars are lamps that they are in the lowest heaven?

Lowest heaven (SAMA AL DUNIYA) means that portion of Universe or sky which is visible to us from naked eyes, without use of powerful telescopes of other gadgets.

Visible sky is definitely seems to us decorated with many lamps. These are starts that emit their lights so it reaches earth. Quran calls them lamps, which means they have both heat and light and that conforms with our Astronomical findings.

In which ever way you look, you cannot say that it is against findings of Modern Science

D. That the moon was cut in half?

That was a special miracle which was performed during the time of our prophet. Since it was a one time event, science can neither confirm nor deny.

The Creator of Universe should at least have that much power to do what ever He likes with objects which He has created. If you do not want to give even that much power to Him, then you are definitely misunderstanding His position and Power in this Universe.

How it was actually done, I do not know, but I believe because it has reached thru reliable sources and it is not against reason or logic.

Try studying before opening your mouth and vomiting out the usual alla-akbar crap about Islam being better than anything.

The Bible has infinitely greater impact on humanity than the Quran will ever have.

The Quran is an incoherent, plagiarized, cobbled-together, ungrammatical, rip-off of the Bible with many heresies thrown in like the laughably absurd claim that Christians worship a mother-father-son trinity or the absurd claim that Jews call EZRA the Son of God.

You can't back up a single one of your Muslim/Arab Supremacist bunk.

Hold your breath my dear Sir, Am I quoting anything other than the words of Christian Scholars?

Go and complain to those people who published this Bible and introduction before each book of Bible.

As for as impact of Bible is concerened... I dont know that in whole Christian world...there are even 10 people who have memorized whole Bible or NT or OT separately.

In the case of Quran there are hundreds of thousands of people in every geenrations who have memorized it fully.

That is the difference.... your book is on paper...our book is inside our hearts.

No need to feel jealous about it.

Words of God and Words of Humans should have some difference at least!!

The Jews believe that memorizing is a sin.

Jews that have repeated the same prayer 10,000 times, still hold a prayer book in front of them and read it as they recite it, because it is a sin to recite from memory.

When you recite from memory, you become a robot.

The Bible could easily be memorized, but what would be the point?

It means absolutely rubbish that little kids have to spend their beautiful active youth stuffing their head with hateful blood thirsty jibberish.

Nobody is jealous of the Quran.

I read it in college and though it was the worst written and stupidest books I had ever laid eyes on. Nowhere in that book is anything to touch the beauty of The Psalms, Isaiah, Job, Song of Songs. The whole thing is a mish-mash and poorly plagiarized rip-off of The Old and New Testament.

You should try to read The Bible. Like many Christian converts I know, they were struck by the golden luminosity of the words of The Saviour Jesus Christ.

The beauty is the eye of beholder, to a baised man nothing from the other side looks beautiful.

You have Arabic Bible, just ask any unbiased Arab to comapare it against Arabic Quran, and find out which is more beautiful.

Jews calling memorizing sin is amazing, beacsue how else they transferred teachings of Torah when there was no paper and no pen and no means of writing?

You might have forgotten but for many centureis Torah was transmitted orally.

The Jews had a writetn law and another law which was transmitted by oral means.

Go and check your history. Since you are unable to memorize your own scripture, you made the very act of memorizing a sin!!

What else can be given as proof of your jealousy for Islam, Msulims and Quran!!

The worst written book got 1500 Million adherants and hundreds of thousands of them memorized it too.

The Best written books of Bible are only in book form, hardly any one reads them daily and there followers after 3500 years remain only a few millions!!

Learn some historical facts. Hebrew was no longer a spoken or a popular language for writing during Roman rule in Palestine. Greek had taken the place of Hebrew.

That is why Jews translated their Hebrew Scripture into Greek (So called Septuagint Translation) and that became very popular with jews living there.

Jesus did spoke Aramaic language and not Hebrew or Greek. But unfortunately none of his teachings were recorded in Aramaic language. His teachings are available in Greek, which are a translation.

If you have a Hebrew Bible that can be traced back to the time of Moses and other prophets, I have no objection in accepting it.

I have read and studied the Christian Bible and have a few of them sitting right next to my table. I find the biblical mishmash horrible
and the New Testament hodge podge laughable and hilarious.

The New Testament looks to me like a broth cooked by many cooks and crooks.

Out of the entire New Testaments, I liked only two sentences. One was when Jesus told people "Do not worry" and the other was when he asked people to settle disputes before the other side takes you to laundry and you lose your pants. I think this was a hard lesson he learnt later but it was too late.

There is no junk and stuff from the Christian Bible at all in Qur'aan. In fact, Qur'aan ridicules the Christians by saying, "You believe in one part of the book and yet deny the other?"

I do not find anything much redeeming in the Christian Bible and whenever I read it, Thomas Paine comes to my mind and I crack up:
"What is it the Bible teaches us?-- rapine, cruelty, and murder.

What is it the Testament teaches us?-- to believe that the Almighty committed debauchery with a woman engaged to be married, and the belief of this debauchery is called faith.”

"It is the fable of Jesus Christ, as told in the New Testament, and the wild and visionary doctrine raised thereon, against which I contend. The story, taking it as it is told, is blasphemously obscene.”

"As to the Christian system of faith, it appears to me as a species of Atheism -- a sort of religious denial of God.

It professes to believe in a man rather than in God.

It is a compound made up Chiefly of Manism with but little Deism, and is an near Atheism as twilight is to darkness.

It introduces between man and his Maker an opaque body, which it calls a Redeemer, as the moon introduces her opaque self between the earth and the sun, and it produces by this means a religious, or an irreligious eclipse of light. It has put the whole orbit of reason

I have a lot of fun bashing to smithereens the nonsense of that fiend calling itself gary/sam/bmz

Y'all need to know that he is an evil creep that has been caught FORGING the text of Isaiah 9:1.

He is condemned by God. He has no friends, no life, no one who cares for him, so he spends his miserable life trolling this forum to find people to talk to.

I think he lives in an asylum.

He's nuts, obviously, and frankly, I doubt that bmz/gary/sam is a Muhammadan.

I see you’re in Bombay India, talking about allha…well how many people did muslims rape, maim, and kill that you are now able to do so…is that something a real g-d would allow? You speak of judgments but you need to rethink your views and find something just to follow, because as is; your consciousness and the consciousness of your people will remain a blight upon this world. Rethink your views, accept the freedom of choice that g-d blessed humans with and find all answers in the original views of a single omnipotent presence, it will take some time and the journey will turn you away, but eventually you will find it only if you press on.

Is Bible Word of God? Part-16

Book of Bible: Psalms

Who Wrote The Book of? Psalms

A. Sound Doc & c: David, who else

What is it?

Sound Doc & c: Word of God

How do you know it?

Sound Doc & c: Holy Spirit told us and Archeology, History and Prophesies all confirm it

Now let us ask what Experts say on this.

B. Scholars who edited Christian Community Bible, Pastoral Version

“ The psalms come from a collection of songs used in the Temple of Jerusalem. Although tradition has it that David regulated the liturgy just as he composed all the songs.”

“It is more likely that Levites. The sons of Asaph and Yedutun, who were in charge of the sacred music of the temple had a greater role in writing and selection of the Psalms”

“With the passage of time, the Psalms took on an overlay of personal piety, collective lamentations..”

“Not all Christians find in the Psalms the fulfillment of their own aspirations, but adopting them for prayer…”

“The psalms have been collected in five books as one can see from the ending of each book…and we can consider them as pairs”

Read the above passage and Answer: Did David wrote Psalms and are they Word of God?

Whom should we believe: Sound Doc and his band of Bible Thumpers

Is Bible Word of God? Part-17

Book of Bible: Proverbs

Who Wrote The Book of? Proverbs

A. Sound Doc & c:

What is it?

Sound Doc & c: Word of God

How do you know it?

Sound Doc & c: Holy Spirit told us and Archeology, History and Prophesies all confirm it (How come Solomon only a King could write Scripture? MUQ)

Now let us ask what Experts say on this.

B. Scholars who edited Christian Community Bible, Pastoral Version

“ There have been abundance of wisdom writing for almost thirteen centuries before Christ both in Egypt and Mesopotamia”

“ This literature which the religious community has preserved is no less the word of God than the prophetic books. Even if at time this wisdom seems a bit pedestrian and utilitarian”

“ The greater part of this book is very old (chapters 10-31), the first section (Ch 1-9) however is much more recent, around the second century BC (i.e. 800 years after Solomon)”

Read the above passage and once again answer this question. Did Solomon wrote this book and is it Word of God?

Whom should we believe: Sound Doc and his band of Bible Thumpers

Hello, MUQ

I sincerely suggest that we should tell our Christian friends that the entire Bible
is not really the Word of God.

There are words of God in it but not all the words are from God.

If Christians say that the NT is the Word of God, then it would be the biggest absurdity in my view and I am sure even in the minds of our learned Christain friends.

It would be like saying that 'Matthew was God','Marks was God','Luke was God','John was God','Paul was God', and so on.

No sensible person would call the Bible, the Word of God.

And here, I would like to clarify and remove off another absurdity, which some of our writers also do, unknowingly:

Jesus is also NOT the word or Word of God. According to Qur'aan, it mentions "a word from Allah to our dearest mother Mary.", which simply means Mary was given the good news of a child.

Thanks, MUQ for bringing this up.
