Niccolo Machiavelli was a prominent Italian philosopher and writer whose seminal work, "The Prince" (1532) explored the controversial but unbreakable notion that human beings meditate on the efficacy and fertility of social behaviors to potentially transcend the conscience obstacle of emotional guilt involved with profit.
