Religious freedom doe snot include hving the body of the church interfere with secular politics. The RCC's time is done; their tax-exempt status needd to be revoked. We also need to revoke all diplomatic ties with vatican city.

If other churches keep doing this as well, they too should lose their status.

Isn't it convenient that the ratings had been disabled for the above video.

Your belief begins and ends with you. You do not have the right to push your superstitions on the rest of us.

Dolan isn't a lawyer, nor is he much of an american; his allegiance is clearly to a foreign power. Religious freedom is not absolute; christian scientists must provide medical care for their kids even if they object strenuously to it.

We ALL pay fo things we do not approve of; I sure as hell didn't approve of bush's dirty wars.

If they want public funding, they need to pay taxes. It's that simple.

Sorry, fucwit, but dolan is nothing more than a catholic tool. I can assure you I am smarter than he is; for one thing, I don't believe in imaginary deities. Since his education is solely in his religion, I repeat--he is not a lawyer. If his foreign-based cult wants to interfere with our politics, they should not receive benefits.

How do you know he's not a lawyer? Many bishops know about the law and esp the Canon law. He has at least eight more years of post secondary education , and probably four years of graduate school in multiple fields. I am sure he has more than one doctorate. How many doctorates do you have? Go back to your little cell and let another inmate use the computer.

You couldn't make it through Intro toPhylosophy, lol. was the first of five children born to Shirley Radcliffe Dolan and the late Robert Dolan. In 1964, he began his high school seminary education at St. Louis Preparatory Seminary South in Shrewsbury, Mo. His seminary foundation continued at Cardinal Glennon College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy. He then completed his priestly formation at the Pontifical North American College in Rome where he earned a License in Sacred Theology at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas.

Cardinal Dolan was ordained to the priesthood on June 19, 1976. He then served as associate pastor at Immacolata Parish in Richmond Heights, Mo., until 1979 when he began studies for a doctorate in American Church History at the Catholic University of America. Before completing the doctorate, he spent a year researching the late Archbishop Edwin O'Hara, a founder of the Catholic Biblical Association. Archbishop O'Hara's life and ministry was the subject of the Archbishop's doctoral dissertation.

On his return to St. Louis, Cardinal Dolan served in parish ministry from 1983-87, during which time he was also liaison for the late Archbishop John L. May in the restructuring of the college and theology programs of the archdiocesan seminary system.

In 1987, Cardinal Dolan was appointed to a five-year term as secretary to the Apostolic Nunciature in Washington, D.C. When he returned to St. Louis in 1992, he was appointed vice rector of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, serving also as director of Spiritual Formation and professor of Church History. He was also an adjunct professor of theology at Saint Louis University.

All priests have a Masters degree in Divinity. It takes eight years for a seminarian to become a priest.

Nobody is forcing anyone to have an abortion; the Supreme Court has ruled that everyone gets to choose for themselves. How is that interfering with you’re your religious freedom. It is you who wants to interfere with a woman’s freedom to choose or not to choose to have an abortion.

The mandate will make us go against our conscience . It is a mortal sin to pay for , accept, birth control, directly or indirectly. Would you offer, force a Muslim to eat pork? We should not have to pay for something, accept something that is intrinsicly evil. We have the right to worship and uphold our Church teachings.

The govt is forcing us to pay for it, if we don't we are fined or jailed. That is not what our Country is or stands for, forcing to pay for contraceptives, abortion is not religious freedom, its communism. So you think that if you don't agree with paying for someones lifestyle/contraceptives that we should be arrested?
