There are so many better gospel songs than that.

Christmas carols are the nicer ones. I like a lot of the classical compositions.

Thanks for the music though, but some advise ---don't get involved in any cults.

Cult is any organization which does not allow independent thinking, questioning - ie mind control. Of course the dictionary definition does not concur.

In other words," my beliefs are true, yours are not because I (some person or book) said so!", here ends all arguments

Anyone in spiritual search should look for independent minded cultivation. True cultivation is allowing each being to grow strong and independent.

You mean African American? Although they are energetic, I never thought their tunes were melodic enough to listen to again.

Actually I am not sure if this is gospel, but it's like one -- Stand by Me and I'll be There.

Dude, just as I can recognize highest Dharma of The Lord, so I can realize which song comes from true love for The Lord and that it is a gospel. Who else would you ask but The Lord to Stand By Me:

Also it was not written by Stevie wonder:

Written by Ben E. King, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller
The song is based on a 1955 Gospel song of
the same name by The Staples Singers.
Leiber and Stoller gave it a more contemporary sound.
Since its release, there have been
many cover versions of the song.
King's version was a Top Ten hit on
the U.S. charts twice in its
original release in 1961
It also reached #1 on the
U.K. Singles Chart in 1987
Sung by ~Elvis Presley~

The lyrics are simple, but singers sing the song with their heart.

This is a Hindu genre called bhajan which is devotional. Lyrics are more beautiful than the translation given, but if you understand the lyrics they are beautiful:
