Sorry to say, marriage is not a serious matter in Bahaisim. I'll give you an example, in Rancho Cugomago Bahai communtiy 85% of members are on their second or third amrriages. My ex husband would come from his Bahai meetings, talk about younger wives of the community. The worst part is if one wants to leave the community.
Baha'i administration
secretly watches, reports on and records the activities and views
of members it sees as a threat. In such circumstances,'counselling' will comprise any communication
that member has had with the institutions, whatever its nature, purpose
and timing. This action will be accompanied by a backbiting campaign
designed to destroy the member's reputation in the community.
Gossiping is high among Irania Bahai in the community. I went through hell and paid a very high price just to cut off my association with that community. Now all my non Bahai friend and family say you don't your blessing.

My dearest friend and well beloved of God. It sounded like you experienced many injustices, and I can understand your frustration. I was telling a friend last night, that if we ever look at people to represent one will want to join religion. So in the bahai community , we shouldnt look at the flaws of the bahais in the community to see what it represents, but to the Writings of Baha'u'llah..Cuz thats pure in its form.. the people become Bahais because they want to be better and get closer to God..but they are still human.and an imperfect eye will behold imperfection, and we are encouraged to develop a perfect eye.. rememebr you are only accountable to one what you do or dont do,,its between you and be hapy and try to always do the right thing and it will always shine throughout injustice..and thats being a bahai.. please continue to be a beautiful bahai..
feel love and be always happy..

Abortion is so high among Bahai, do you know why, because Bahai men do sleep around (to non Bahai). However they are so afraid that their Bahai community would find out, so they would rather to destry others lives. The sad part good number of them behave this way. I was with Bahai man for 25 years, married to hime twice, whrn I matured in my life I relaized what is going on. I am well educated. Coming from very good family.
When I started confronting him, what he does lies to every one. Just one day I get a phone call from my lawyer that there is restrained order against you, you need to leave the house. No police report nothing, guess who was his lawyer a Bahai. I have been recieving emails form all over the world about what is going on among Bahai communities. It is not the faith it is the people.........
God hope help others (I am very active to open people's eyes) not to get involve with people like Alto Loma, ca communities. My family and I are so ashamed to have any associations with Bahai. My family are very well to do and well educated that is why the girls in family married men from other faiths.

Dear omeharshan;
I don't know how to say, when I was young I thougth Mulahs were bad, but being involved with bahaisim and listening to non bhaia of what they have done to othewr non Bahai's I can say this is poison to human society, very controling communities. Lies such as equaleties and women are not elected in high positions
Mya GOD make you all bahai see what are you doing..........

Please to all non bahai stay away from this corrupted communities, especially women thsy tend to go after women.
Baha’i authorities exercise a great deal of control over discourse in the community, maintaining a virtual monopoly on mass media with a Baha’i audience. This control is felt necessary in part to prevent electioneering and coalition-forming, which are formally barred (despite the informal campaigning discussed above). It is perhaps not incidental that the controls on electioneering and other forms of communication have the side effect of ensuring that criticism of those in power cannot achieve wide circulation, and that the incumbents who exercise that control are reelected every year. Incumbents act aggressively against Baha’i owners of media who demonstrate too much independence. They monitor the speech of individuals extensively through a system of informants, and intervene behind the scenes to silence dissidents with threats of sanctions. They require prepublication censorship of everything Baha’is write about their religion. They intervene in the private businesses of believers where they think the interests of the administration are at stake. They tell private Baha’i publishers what books and even what passages in books they may and may not publish. They employ the threats of loss of administrative rights, humiliation in the national Baha’i newspaper, and even of shunning, in order to control believers.
