Perhaps the most disturbing thing that this new legislation is proposing is mandating the death penalty for anyone who converts from Islam to any other religion.

Why do they have to do that I wonder. Is Islam a weak faith that they are afrid muslims will leave Islam for other faith. Other question comes in my mind, is Islam man's religion instead of God's since men has to be it's keeper?

If Muslims did not threaten their people with death, there would be a mass exit world wide from Islam. Most Muslims have no idea what islam really is, they just follow what they are told to do.

If Muslim think I'm wrong... I dare you to life the threats against Msulism for leaving Islam... let's see how many abandon the religion.

Islam is weak if it has to murder people for exercising free will in beliefs.

Thats an excellent point... in true religion, only god has the power to judge and condemn... not man with his twisted political and social agendas

To be honest, in my opinion... these atrocities that are being committed against Bahai'is and other non-muslims in Iran could not be any farther from actual Islam. There is nothing in the Quran that condemns nor instructs its followers to persecute anyother religion.

Iran has already executed more that 200 Bahai'is since the 80's and imprisoned thousands more. Bahai'is in Iran are denied jobs, legal rights and access to education. This religious crusade has to be stopped dead in its tracks...

"Bloody" religion of all shades should be put in the dustbin of history. When religion declines, true reason and civilization can arise.

Who did write the human right? Jesus did? So he allowed homosexuality?

Hey Listen to me, what about if you make a new religion called "Human Rights"? Pick up "Criss Angel" as a prophet, and by this way everybody is happy!

Allow your religion to permit you to do whatever you want!
Kill, Rape, Invade and Hate as much as you can!
Sounds like a good idea, isn't it?

I am not exactly sure what you are referring to here, but from the context it seems that you are attempting to insult the Bahai'i Faith, and clearly you have abslutely no knowedge whatsoever of Bahai'i principles or people. Bahai'i are non-violent. We do not carry weapons. We have not ever invaded any country or forced any group of people to convert. We do not have hate for people of any religion-- because all religions are one-- rays from the same sun. We do not even our opressors for we know that they just do not know any better. I cannot fault someone for failing to reach enlightenment, all I can do is be patient and pray and continue to praise Allah and carry out the work and teachings of Baha'u'llah.

To commit a grave injustice such as rape against a woman is an abomination before Allah... and never to be overlooked. And contrary to the cultural beliefs of some people in Africa and the Middle East-- a woman should never be punished nor shamed for being a victim. The life of a woman is value equally to a man.

And lastly, it is absolutely unacceptable for a Bahai'i to kill... and even more of a sin to take the life of another in an act of murder or terror and claim that it was in the name of God. The concept of Jihad bis Saif does not exist in the Bahai'i Faith.

Please, at least attempt to educate and enlighten yourself.

Please also note: this thread is not meant to bash or defame Islam in anyway. Because I personally feel that overzealousness and religious extremism is actually worse than apostasy in the eyes of God.

Place: PseudoChristian Hell
Time: After my death.

In the Lake of Fire, writhing in eternal torment are the bodies of Adolf Hitler, Mark Lotzer, Gandhi, and True Jesus.“Oh the pain! It’s horrible! We burn! The torment of it and we are damned to suffer forever!” Suddenly, Satan says,“Ok, it’s fine! PseudogOd isn’t looking anymore! I haven’t let the water get too cold!”

Adolf:“Actually, a couple degrees warmer would be nice! How about it guys?”

Everyone nods in agreement.

True Jesus:“What is taking Madalyn?

Satan:“Murray O'Hair was muttered something about tonight’s adventure taking a little longer to prepare.”

Gandhi:“We’re just invading PseudoHeaven! I can not wait for my assassin to slit some of those PseudoChristians’ throats!”

Adolf:“Hey, you’re supposed to be a Pacifist!”

Gandhi:“Oh, PLUCK YOU! I can do whatever I want. It is just make believe!”

True Jesus:“Mark, stop smiling! We all know you are going to get some after the D&D game!”

Mark:“That is not what I am smiling about. I am just content. I have been this way ever since I found my Muse! I am worried about how long this thing I have with Madalyn can last, after all it has been a couple of centuries already!”

Satan:“I have seen it before. You are just another incurable romantic. You and Madalyn will always be like this” and he crosses fingers in front of his gaming buddies.

PseudoChristians, you are nothing special. You just another group of intolerant buttheads! Just know that the Members of the Age of Reason have banded together to protect the innocent from any with your world domination aspirations. Think of it as a Pentagon of Protection composed of Atheism, Agnosticism, Satanism, The Zoroastrian-Judeo-Christian-Is lamic Tradition, and Paganism that will surround and protect the world at large from the likes of you!

I Believe AGNOSTICISM. Theist, Agnostic, or Atheist (i.e. I believe in some form of religion; I suspend belief in any form of religion; or I believe in no form of religion). Since it is impossible to prove any of the choices, you are equally correct in picking any one of them.-------- Science Happened-GET OVER IT!-------- I PLEDGE THIS ON MY SWORD OF REASONED THOUGHT AND EMPIRICAL SCIENCE SHALL BE MY SHIELD! Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.
Quran 9:29

Being brought low and having to pay tribute is like beinmg made to pay protection money to the mafia.

ah, i see. well regardless, in my humble understanding of Islam-- in its purest form it is a generally mean to be a peaceful an tolerant religion.

However, in practice that is not necessarily always the reality.-- No one knows that better than myself, being a Bahai'i, have been subjected to countless abuses and injustices at the hands of Islamic leaders... the situation in Iran is the perfect example.

But even so, I am still morally inclined not to judge and condemn someone based on their religious preferences because then that makes me no better.

no, you didnt. your post was extremely ambiguous and the only one lacking intelligence here is you... this is made apparent by your inclination to resort to insults when you have nothing of actual substance to contribute.
