He was a horrid person, and about as selfish as it is possible to be, and still breathe.
Example after example where he was uncaring about the fate of people who came to worship him at his public viewings, while he drove in stretch limos and lived in mansions like the god he pretended to be.
THAT is his legacy: one of selfish power and greed.
As are most of the leaders of all True Believers™
I remember watching some show years ago about Billy Graham. As big as his ministry became, he never took a million or millions in salary. That is fact.

The show I saw was some few yrs ago, and if I remember correctly...it wasn't even a $100,000 a year.

But here's a 2007 Time article on Billy Graham..

"The charge that Graham went into ministry to get rich is just as easily refuted, both by what he did and didn't do. Well aware of how easily a famous preacher could be destroyed by financial or sexual scandal, Graham took pains early on to protect himself from both. He insisted that crusade accounts be audited and published in the local papers when the crusade was finished. Having founded the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in 1950, he took a straight salary, comparable to that of a senior minister of a major urban pulpit, no matter how much in money his meetings brought in. He was turning down million-dollar television and Hollywood offers half a century ago. He never built the Church of Billy Graham, and while he lived comfortably, his house is a modest place. If he had wanted to get rich, he could have been many, many times over."

You're just shooting your mouth off and have no idea about Billy Graham. While it's obvious some Christian tv evangelists and ministries are living in luxury and don't even open their books to public scrutiny, you cannot say that about all of them.

Really?

If your church didn't come from Genuine Catholicism™, then your church isn't real-- it doesn't even have tradition to justify it's pathetic existence.

Wow.

Your ego is literally without limits! You presume that your church, a late-comer, who stole the bible from earlier churches, is the One True Church™?

Is that about right?

LMAO!

Your arrogance is also without limits....!

too FUNNY!

Graham was a con-artist, and nothing BUT a con man.

As are >>ALL<< TV preachers, you silly and ignorant fool.

He was in it for the money-- make no mistake.

Unless it comes out that he was, as is sooooo common among you True Believers™, he was in it for the sex-with-minors aspect.

I could easily see it going either way, for someone as morally bankrupt as Graham is/was.

But what can you do?

Idiots and gullible fools (such as YOU) kept feeding his habit with lots of money you could ill afford to give him...

... sickening.

Seriously.

What church do you belong to, I am sure they have blood on their hands. Regardless if not for the Catholic Church your church would not exist. The Catholic Church is responsible for putting together the bible in the form we have it today and more importantly being the vehicle that spread the faith to all corners of the world.

Other churches merely branched off to offer a slightly different variation like it or not.

i am an independent baptist, has nothing to do with the southern baptists and you will look long and hard before you will find a true baptist with blood on his hands. we go back through the anabaptist movement not the catholic church.

and actually the bible existed long before the cc canonized it. our Bible does not have all of the books that the C Bible has.

Before that it was a jumbled garbled mess with hundreds of different writings for each of the books. It had dozens of books not in it now. Like it or not they are responsible for the book of myths as we have it now in our current form and try are responsible for spreading and growing Christianity all over the world.

I was an independent Baptist myself before becoming an atheist and yes that group has runs fair share of atrocities and crimes against humanity.

Mr. Graham seemed like an honorable man with good intentions. His son franklin not so much. He singlehandedly destroyed the most successful AIDS program in Africa with his fundietard abstinence only bullshit! After he was through the AIDS infection rate in Uganda soared!

In what way was Graham an honorable man? he was a known anti-semite. that might have been due to the inherent divisivness of the cult he was leader in... but that's not really an excuse, is it?

so list some of the "fair share of atrocities and crimes against humanity."

i noticed that you didn't post a link for your opinion on the Bible before the CC.

Quite a few baptists used their cult to support slavery.(not much of a stretch as the mythical god of thier cult gave it a big thimbs up!)

that was quite atrocious...(in the name of your god...)

I don't hate the Genuine Catholic Church™-- I what it does to the world.

That is a subtle, but important difference.

But not one I suspect you can comprehend.

Not my problem.

And?

If the Genuine Catholic Church™ had never existed?

Neither would your particular hate-cult.

So you owe YOUR roots of YOUR hate-cult to the Genuine Catholic Church™.

No two ways about that one-- you'd not have your Genuine Bible™ either.
