That yet another of your lies.
Do you or do you not, use the Genuine Bible™?
Hmmm?
If you do not use the bible, then WHAT do you use to justify your Genuine Christianity™?
If you DO us the bible? Then-- THESE ARE YOUR CHRISTIAN ANCESTORS.
And you are EQUALLY GUILTY FOR ANYTHING THEY DID--
--- because you all use the SAME EVIL BIBLE.
So.
You are lying, yet again.
what are you talking about?

I have: the bile-bull is an evil book, written by evil men, in order to control fools (such as ... you).
That is the truth.
You? You are the coward, afraid to face the fact that YOU ARE NOT MAGICALLY SIGNIFICANT TO THE GREATER UNIVERSE.
You aren't you know-- you're just a little insignificant speck of life on a tiny little planet-- and the greater universe DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.
At all.
And you, in your abject cowardice, cannot face that.
I suppose there's a lot of EGO on your part, too.
You insignificant narcissistic Genuine Christian™ you...

Josephus' words about "jesus" are forgeries.
Period.
The language is the wrong age-- too new-- for Josephus to have used.
Period.
There is no getting around that one--
-- but even if it WASN'T a forgery?
It was decades too late! Josephus wasn't even born, before your Jewsus allegedly died.
So anything Josephus wrote? Gossip.
Pure-D gossip.
are you sure now. you did have this to say about mads' explanation.

You're probably aware that Richard Carrier argues that the passage may have been written by Josephus but he was actually writing about Jesus Ben Sira (I think that's the right name, there were so many dudes named Yeshua back then).

and you acknowledge the validity of his claim with this;

bob replied;
"Thanks, but I was unaware he was taking that particular dodge.

I really only skim most of his shyte, as not being worth the time to read.
:)
He's become rather a bore, so I've started skipping over the majority of his whining."

Really?
All modern Genuine Christianity™ comes directly from the Catholic Church™.
So, you are lying here-- as per your usual habit.
then who were the "heretics" that the Catholics persecuted and killed?

Throughout history Christians have targeted and killed other Christians who believe slightly differently then them and it's not only the Catholic Church who is guilty of that.

Your morally bankrupt religion just about commands it and you see other Christians as false Christians because they don't believe exactly as you do.

Here's a few:

The Reformation and the Inquisition are prime examples of how religion is not only divisive, but deadly.

No.

No you don't-- you positively and demonstratively HATE me and people like me.

This is patently obvious, just from examining your ugly bible.

For starters?

You >>have<< to harbor serious feelings of hate, in order to reconcile yourself with the ugly theology of infinite torture.

That?

That ugly idea: that your monster-terrorist god will TORTURE people forever?

Is sufficient proof of the depths of your hate and depravity.

So, no-- you do not "love" anyone--

--- not even YOURSELF.

How COULD you?

Jews, gipsies, non-christians.

But of course, they also persecuted Genuine Christians™ who dared to question the Pope-ums semi-divinity.

Prior to the Mass Exodus from Genuine Catholicism™ into Genuine Christianity™?

There was but one Genuine Church™.

At least, according to your own church history.

But you seem to be quite unfamiliar with that.

Sad.

I won't debate that anymore. How about "burning in the fires of hell", except for Graham and his fellow bigots?

exactly my point. the Cc persecuted and slaughtered anyone who disagreed with them. many were in fact true Christians. my spiritual forefathers were never on the persecutors side but rather on the persecuted side. i have a great love for Catholics but really no love for the Catholic church.

no, while at one time graham believed in a literal hell fire, he doesn't believe that only his followers would escape it.

"Well, Christianity and being a true believer, you know, I think there's the body of Christ which comes from all the Christian groups around the world, or outside the Christian groups. I think that everybody that loves Christ or knows Christ, whether they're conscious of it or not, they're members of the body of Christ. And I don't think that we're going to see a great sweeping revival that will turn the whole world to Christ at any time. What God is doing today is calling people out of the world for His name. Whether they come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or the Christian world, or the non-believing world, they are members of the body of Christ because they've been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus, but they know in their hearts they need something that they don't have and they turn to the only light they have and I think they're saved and they're going to be with us in heaven."

"I've met people in various parts of the world in tribal situations that they have never seen a Bible or heard about a Bible, have never heard of Jesus but they've believed in their hearts that there is a God and they tried to live a life that was quite apart from the surrounding community in which they lived."

my Christianity is not morally bankrupt. my spiritual fathers have never targeted and killed anyone. you make uneducated assumptions.
