All of those who claim to be possessed have several things in common, they are believers and they willingly share the tale of possession with other believers.

Atheist are often accused by the religitards, of being possessed, though the demons inhabiting atheist seldom draw any notice to themselves. Just so you know the difference, here is how to tell, the possessed from the not possessed.

The "not possessed by demons" atheist pays bills, does laundry, clocks in at work, gasses up the mini van, drives the mother-in-law to her bridge games and cooks dinner. Now compare that to the "possessed by demons" atheist, who pays bills, does laundry, clocks in at work, gasses up the mini van, drives the mother-in-law to her bridge games, cooks dinner and posts on topix as an atheist.

But just in case you didn't know, non-believers in those last moments of life, while their brain is shutting down, see no gods, angels or pearly gates. Has any Christain that you know of ever seen Ganesh or Pele, at the moment of their deaths? No, they haven't but those two gods will be seen by those who believe in them. What I do know is that unless your beliefs do not lead you to endanger my liberties, my life and my country, you're entitled to believe in whatever you like.

I know there is not an afterlife and I am not looking for it. I can't imagine anything more counter productive to humanity.

Imagine even one minute of knowing that almost all humans ever born are being forever tortured for billions upon billions of eons. It would take pure insanity to be Ok, with that.

I don't live in fear of an afterlife, sorry to disappoint you, but I actually feel comfortable about the possibility of my spirit going on into an afterlife wherever that may be.
I also live my life to the full without fear.

I use archaeology to investigated the validity of the Bible and Quran. Like I have learned that Islam is false because they claim that Abraham (whose tomb is in Hebron, Israel), built the Kaaba in the center of Mecca. What about all of the other people who don't have it as well? I went to L.A. for a business trip and saw teenagers asleep under a bridge. This world is messed up beyond repair. I could never be happy when I see others so bad off, no matter I good I personally have it. Is this really all you ever hope for? What a shit hole this planet is!
