To you? Your inability to process the modern theories of cosmology has no real weight on the discussion.

This fallacy is known as one of incredulity: because **you** don't like it/can't understand it/don't want to believe it, you reject it out of hand.

It has **nothing** to do with reason.

Or a valid argument for that matter...

Special pleading, to excuse your "creator" idea.

An idea which explains exactly nothing-- and creates far more questions that can **only** be "solved" by ... invoking magic.

So it's magic, then?

I'm not worried in the least.

Especially as how you are too stupid to know how to find people on the internets.

And that is good-- you'd likely shoot us atheists if you could get close.

So deep and depraved is your unlimited hate for us.

<quoted text>Look closely at the following link. It was c&p'd from above this page. >>>

Though it may be cross posted in other forums, we know where we are at, and we are not in Islam's threads. So would you care to keep repeating your mistake, for a ninth time?
Oh, so they cross reference and we don't know which one it was first first posted in. Thanks for pointing this out. If I would have known that I was in an atheist bee hive, I wouldn't have been participating. I would have known better. You don't put a stick in a bee hive. No wonder there are so many Atheists here. I would never have any interest in being in an Atheist forum. My attitude would have been like, why would I want to talk to nothing but Atheists? No wonder the topic immediately turned to proof of God and got angry and has so many atheists participating.

Anyway, I was right on post 71. I should have followed my own advice. 1100 plus posts and all that either side can say is that one guess is better than another. But nobody has still PROVEN anything either way. Even if one says you make no guess at all or make no choice at all, you still have made a choice. Not voting is still a vote. You might not have made a vote for something, but you most certainly have made a vote against something, and have done so with quite a lot of confidence.

Take care.

So I am in an Islam forum discussing religion, and you guys are all on an Atheism forum. So no wonder you guys get so angry. You thought I was purposefully going on a Atheism forum, and therefore thought that I came here to preach to you all. At first, I thought I was talking about a prison guard converting to Islam and that's what I first talked about. Then everything changed after I brought up the idea of proof of existence of God, and said it can't be proven either way and then all of the hornets came out after I said what I said on post 71. Read post 71.

Believe me, I would never even want to even bother to ever go on an Atheist forum. I just leave Atheists alone. What an incredible waste of my time.

Take care.

You also post on a thread entitled "Atheism and Cowardice".
What forum, perchance, do you think you are posting to there?

It shows up in the Islam Forum as well. Why would I ever want to go on an Atheist forum? That's like taking a stick and poking an angry hornets nest. Who needs that? I leave Atheists to their own devices. So maybe I need to stay away from that as well.

I was only discussing the part about not trusting a guard who converts to Islam, and then it turned to things that Christians do, which should have been my first clue, and then I said Jesus never told them to do that and then said if you want to start a new thread about proving that God exists or proving that God doesn't exist, it will go on forever and be a pointless discussion. Post 71. The only reason why it continued is because if someone asks me something, I am rather obligated to give an answer as part of participation in a discussion board. And 1100 or so posts later and a hijacked thread, and the rest is history.

Now I understand the nastiness. You guys thought I came here on an Atheist forum on purpose to challenge you and preach. I would never bother to do something that stupid. What a pointless waste of time that would be, and that's exactly how it turned out, whether I realized where I was or not.

A long time ago, I went on infidels.org , and it was nothing but utter nastiness and a "gang up" mentality. So that was pretty much it for me in terms of Atheist forums.

One qualification Thinking, you weren't nasty and neither was Marco, but most others were at minimum ridiculing immediately or even being downright nasty about it. Skeptic has a major chip on his shoulder and was close to the worst, but he's only a teenage boy. GiveMeLiberty was an absolute horror show, and not only has somebody obviously stuck a stick up his arss at some point in his life, at the end I started to realize that he is actually semi out of his mind, aside from any opinions on any issues. So not everybody was an angry hornet. I thought that would be fair of me to qualify. Anyway, enjoyed the conversation with you.

Bible-god has no empathy either-- as demonstrated by Job, and Lot's wife, and that guy who was murdered just for steadying the Ark of the Covenant.
Zero empathy by bible's god.
Ugg.
How could anyone see the buybull as a moral inspiration is beyond my understanding.
Cinderella is more ethical than that crappy book.

More to the point? What sort of parent is constantly testing his or her children's love?
Sounds like a horrid and failed parent, to me...
Exactly. I cannot imagine subjecting my niece to bad things just to test her love for me. For now, I am content with her doing well in school and her telling me that I am her hero. I don't imagine that Seeker would subject his kids to adversity to prove their love. The issue with religious people like Seeker is that they would rather create a different set of rules for their god rather than admiit his faults.

No it doesn't.

That's bogus.

Does it take a perfect artist, to appreciate all art? No. A non-artist can easily appreciate art, and recognize when the art is not only good, but from someone superior to himself.

Your whole idea is nuts.

They were brainwashed from infancy, that's how.

They don't even see that the single common thread throughout? Is magic.

How did god make the world? Magic.
Where did all the flood water come from? Magic.
Where did it go, afterwards? Magic.
How did Jewsus make wine with just water? Magic.

... and so it goes.
